  1. theres quite a few around bayswater/blackburn nizpro? avo? racepace?
  2. dont get out much to 'nice' restauraunts, but one that i have been to is rococo (not 100% sure on spelling) in st kilda, just up from maccus and that dodgy roundabout thingy. its more relaxed than most places, great atmosphere, plenty of people (good in its own way) and price was pretty decent too. from memory it was well under 100 for two people, only a couple of beers in that, no bottles of wine or anything
  3. i thought they didnt exist any more?
  4. yeah its wierd like that. there were guys in my class that had completely different modules to me. one guy didnt have to do TIG welding! i asked if he did any pre-app's or anything like that... nope.
  5. rob vickery had the red one, standard motor with a turbo kit. he sold it to the guy that owns BLO402, cant remember his name right now. it runs 12's from memory *ninja edit, guys name is gary pope* theres one up in sydney, 400+cu stroker, turbo, running high 10's in FULL street trim
  6. its just cool to be different. whether you like 'shittadores' or not, seing one on lock, rb26 screaming at 9000rpm, gate wide open, is wwaaayyyyy cooler than another s13. even a turbo v8 wouldnt have the same appeal if you were a spectator and saw it out on the track... for me, it would still be cool if it were a v8, but if i heard that thing in the flesh i'd probly be running to the pits to get a closer look
  7. mate had one on his phone, so while taking his car for a drive he tells me to stop and do a run (he doesnt have a licence so i drive his car). apparently a VLT with gt35r/r33 5 speed/nistune on ET streets takes 20+ secs to cover 400m... shit we got some speed up lol **moderator approved and sanctioned racetrack of course**
  8. yeah its chooka's, looks like his whole collection is up, as has been mentioned. more tame inlet manifold etc to get it registered i believe hes a builder from cairns and apparently the building game isnt going to well up there atm, few have come to the conclusion hes going under, hence the sale of the whole collection, and the fact its going through pickles.

    Dumpling Joints

you talking yum cha or prefer to eat your dumpligs after 3pm?
  11. obviously he hasnt got the numbers he wants, but he was too pushy at the end of the video to get it out there, his exact words were something like 'what if every victorian saw this video'. thats what, 4 million views? double that coz its really two videos. then you'd naturally expect a large portion of those would like to see his opinions on other things, have a quick scan of his other videos.... i dont know how much youtube pays but surely millions upon millions (what hes aiming for) would be worth something half significant?
  12. you know youtube is actually paying people that get mass views of their videos (i'd assume its like a divend of what they get through advertising). video man is also pretty pushy at the end of the video to show as many people as possible. good idea or not, old mate's trying to make a quid himsef out of this
  13. ^if you stainless MIG or TIG it it will be fine becuse of the high nickel content. that said i modded my mates manifold a month or so ago and used castcraft electrodes but you can do it with a tig easy
  14. lol trent, serious reply is funnier than OP
  15. i wouldnt think so either, only thing i can think is the alu expanding at a different rate to the grub screw with heat, and maybe just pulling away enough to break the sealent. obvious solution here would be to use a 'softer' sealent that has a bit of flex rather than something that sets hard... cant think of anything else. grub screw needs to be whatever size you tap the head at...
  16. might be a bit late, but you'd be much better off bolting a snail to whats already there. for the money you'd spend on the conversion, put it towards the dirty 30 and you'll make more power, with shitloads more midrange, and you wont have to worry about engineering the motor swap, just a turbo upgrade (dont know if this will be any easier or not though...)
  17. change in both maf and injectors means its running ok. for anyone thats thinking it, no you cant match a z32 with bigger injectors to get good A:F ratio's, the curve of the MAF is different to stock
  18. because building something start to finish is something i havent already done in the last 3 years? or writing a report about a job i've already done? i fail to see how taking a short cut on this particular module is going to make me a 'dumb f*ck tadesman'?
  19. considering how far is shunted the other cars, its actually held up real well. dont care if people show off, but i would still laugh/taunt this guy, ferrari drivers shit me... "hey buddy, that parkin' spot's already occupied!"
  20. ^ on that note, is he starting in 2nd or is first down to the left on the boxes they use?
  21. i know its a bit late but had to pick up on this one. i was at trade school one day when the cops did a sweep through at lunch time, when nobody was around, heaps of people (me included) came back to find a sweet canary on the windscreen with a sealed packet that contained the list of things wrong. cops were long gone before anyone came back. c*nts (in all fairness my car was a fair nugget tho lol)
  22. its an actual module, but its just an assignment, we got some very basic crieria sheet, pretty sure its in the bin somewhere, didnt give much info, but the report itself has to be pretty detailed (c*nt of a teacher lol)
  23. ok so i know theres a few of you on here. just got the 'plan a complete ativity' module, and its been given as homework over the holidays. homework is the very reason i went with a trade rather than further study, its a c*nt of an idea. anyway, point is, anyone done this recently and still got a copy i can blatantly plagurize? i am willing to go as far as changing the name though, coz i'm a nice guy and all cheers, Ben
