Two quick suggestions. I'm not going to talk you out of this, but wanted to throw my 2c in. You could wrap (or even paint) the OEM parts to get the same (or even better) result. Series 2 Stags have much nicer lights. The pieces on either side of the num plate are chrome. Sorry for this pic of mine, I couldn't find a better one.

That sticker was the first thing I noticed in that pic. The previous owner of Nics Stagea parked next to me at the SAU SNS. I loved his car as he'd done the manual conversion. Before the day was out, Nick had swooped in and bought it. I love that he kept it for the last 14 years.

Hi All, I'm finishing up a respray on a 2nd hand bumper I bought. It has holes where the previous owner had no doubt used self tappers to mount the number plate. I don't want to mount my plate like that, I'd prefer to have some sort of mount or backing that I could semi-permanently attach to the bar and then screw into with the number plate. I've had almost no luck finding anything, what I found was dodgy 1-size-fits-all Chinese options or genuine BMW options for $90. I'm hoping I can whip something DIY up and that somebody on here has done something similar? Thanks, Christian
