  1. Tara, get it written off. The inside of a GTS-t is VERY flimsy and that hit has definitely twisted the interior of the engine bay around. I just did a lot of work straightening the front end on a 33GTSt that took a really small hit. The rear end is also a MASSIVE hit, the only way to repair that is a cut and shut, it will never be the same again. Depending on what they want for a buy back, you should consider getting it back and parting it out.

  4. It's nothing to do with a safety policy. It's not just about people being idiots on the road.If something can be proven to have happened because you were there, then you are liable, it's not just about the driving.
  5. I think what you'll really find is that Sydney has already had the crack down, and hence why the car scene is dead.The same as what happened in Wollongong. Gone are the days of the runs that used to occur...
  6. Exactly like chubbs said. If the "group" being together caused an issue that would otherwise not be present if theydodnt come together, the organizer is liable. If us being on the road for example with 100 cars causes a traffic jam and forces an incident (not even an accident but some other issue) you would be liable.

Only line around the corner.Deliberate would more be like spread all over the road, or in a zig zag type manner. Go grab a bottle of water, run down your hall way and start to tip it out.   18. Matthew, have you ever driven up Huntley? It's a GREAT piece of road, just respect it, if you don't want to trash the street car, don't go 10/10ths! Back it off a notch. Any hill climb track can and will bite and destroy a car. Actually, any race track for that matter. Look at the cars that turn sideways at WSID, cars into walls at EC etc. I'm hoping to be out there early next year at Huntley for a proper race event so I can finally go up it under race conditions and at race pace! PS: I'm a local too.

  20. Just thinking about it, put it on a wheel aligner mark, pull the car down (Strapping the rear down only) until your tyres touch the guards. Then slowly release the straps until you're 30mm off the guards. Set camber to 0 degrees at this point. You were previously squatting hard enough to touch the guards, you've now raised 40mm, so allow an extra 10mm for further squat. See how you go.

  22. Mark, you need to figure out a method to measure how far your car is actually squatting on launch. From there, strap the car down so the suspension is compressed down that far. I'd then set the car up to still have the MINUTEST touch of positive camber. You should then be pretty darn close to 0 when you actually launch it. As you'll have more grip then you currently have, it'll squat the slightest bit further, and that previous minute amount of pos camber becomes 0 camber.
