  1. This is true - if boost kicks in when you're not expecting it, shit can go wrong very very fast. That said - enjoy it as stock, maybe wind the boost to 10psi... ;p
  2. Also japsportspares, sss automotive, skylinespares, etc - worth emailing and sending a pic to see if they have a guard in that colour.
  3. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/361023496002 Pity they're in SA - but yeah, keep an eye out for a replacement guard and just swap it over. Save cash for getting a new bar eventually - lots of r33s have some form of front bar damage
  4. Nahhhhhhhh f**k it Fix her up, insure with shannons next year, problem solved
  5. Okay yeah - home jobbie with new guard and cable ties - "drift" damage street cred. Should be $200 tops
  6. If you wanna try it on the cheap - find a new guard (Facebook groups seem to be the way these days), and cabletie the shit out of that front bar - problem solved!
  7. Ah whoops I'm thinking of the wrong thing - pop the bonnet, does much look bent out of place? I should dig up the photos of my stack like 9 years ago hah, bloody highway at APR
  8. Yeah that doesn't look too bad - m-spec front bar and FR guard. Probably won't get a colour match but shouldn't set you back more than 600 I'd think? Guards are usually 100 or so and I got a full mspec kit for 600 (inc skirts and pods). Any damage to bonnet or reo bar? How south coast are we talking?

  10. http://roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au/stayingsafe/drivers/youngdrivers/vehicle-restrictions.html Just did a search on 1991 gts-t - rms says banned
  11. If you get your hands on a good cond S1 brochure I'll swap
  12. Can't log in via the app - use same user/pass on app and in Chrome, works on chrome, but app spits out an error (screenshot attached). Have uninstalled and reinstalled - any other steps I can take?
  13. Iirc the issue will be top feed vs side feed...
  14. Looks great mate - keep enjoying it!
  15. I've found lately that facebook groups seem to have the most bits for sale - one of the more prevalent ones is Skyline Parts Sales NSW - can't grab a link cause I'm on mobile Also Skyline Spares in Wetherill Park is pretty good. Also also there's a guy up the central coast I've been happy dealing with, Baldwin Imports - he's on gumtree, last check about 800 different parts for different nissans.
  16. I wouldn't think so? I feel like that's a BCM thing on newer cars with a transponder etc. I mean I can wire a push button start up to my S1 33, sooooo.... *shrug*
  17. Hmm, I don't have an R34 so I have none of those things ;P So idling is fine? Personally I'd be just stripping and re-joining the wires with where they should go (can match colours, doesn't look like there's any that are doubling up) - but I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron
  18. Agreed, looks like all HICAS stuff - you'll have a light on your cluster and steering may get heavy like no power steering, but should otherwise be fine. As has been said, if you're not confident, just tape them all separately and take it to an auto sparky, otherwise just re-join the colours.
  19. Ahhhh I didn't realise they were different, my bad.
  20. Also: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/1130100458
