  1. ps series haltechs will also do it, we have set up the Autronics (6-8 months back) now too even though we were told it wont work
  2. we do quite alot of 50/50 tuning and the results are great but customers ALWAYS end up at full strength e85 after a few months as they CBF'd mixing.
  3. 70% of our tuning is e85 and we dont see that unless the engine is built to loose.
  4. the track was pretty slow on the weekend and wet apparently so maybe another 2secs on a good day. John Richo is stupid quick in his car, will definitely be throwing the keys his way to do a shake down on our sports sedan when its ready.
  5. Haha your obviously not serious? i would be pulling that thing off my dyno.... if any engine i built or tuned looked like that id be ashamed even a car running 30+psi should never breathe like that.
  6. They are not the same there are alot of dodgy back yard ones done here, you do realise they are machined... not off the shelf items?
  7. allot of methanol guys seem to use them and i suppose they get away with it as so many methanol cars are tuned pig rich.... i had a few come in running running around 0.56 lambda which is crazy even if one is way off its still pig rich they had to spend sooo much cash on ignition just to make it pull numbers..
  8. Bored and just love the sound of this thing. Titanium exhaust and an Afm at 5.11v = fuel addage for a split second on back off and nice flames. Went on to take fastest time at 1:36 @ winton today, nice job for a full bodied street car.
  9. send it back to haltech ask what is blown and rectify that circuit
  10. its hard to tell without being there but you could just load it up to say 3000rpm and vary the load 0-6 odd psi aka engine dyno run in procedure and see if its beds in, just wanna make sure its not butted rings or similar though.
  11. this is the person doing the high flowing.... we were having the same dramas then narrowed it down to a certain supplier. look at the pintle if the tip is not perfectly centred chances are its from the dodgy vendor. Often the local backyard ones are also engraved 1000 or 2000 on the body.
  12. Yeah there is a bulletin floating around from bosch saying the injector filters should not be used in E85 applications unless they are constantly monitored. We find only the cars which sit for long periods between race events get congealing but it depends on setup, those with stupid over the top fuel systems (and super hot running engines like the real late model stuff) seem to suffer the worst as the extra heat in the fuel makes things worse.
  13. yeah its funny we all used to used them now i hate them...
  14. wont have an issue, they seem to be a good thing so far, used around 20-25 without issue. Nice and easy to fit dual intank in a GTR too for 500+ kw setups.
  15. send it through if you need a quick reply, have the tuning lappy at home tonight.
  16. haha dont push it too hard till its tuned ecu is map sensor based remember
  17. wind a shload on advance on the intake cam leave the exh at zero, should be around 300-400rpm in that alone.
  18. depends on what its used for and the boost level, its common to make big power but i would guarantee unless its drag (full load for 9-12 secs at a time) etc a 500-600awkw gtr is not going to last many laps (1/2 hour at a time) in a circuit type situation...
