most PS3 are made in china. pretty much only the japanese retailed ones are made in japan. I bought mine in november last year in japan and it was made in japan, but the aussie ones are made in china. yes, I still have my first gen PS2 too, made in china cost me $900 back in the day! ouch!

the only problem with buying an OS model is: can't play aussie dvds and most likely BDs in the future can't play aussie ps2 games that's about it. no problem (for now) playing aussie PS3 games. and no problem using it on-line either.

yeah not many on ebay, if you can find one in a store (which I doubt) they are $999. recently they were $959 inc 2 games and an extra controller. that was the time to buy, but sadly those days are over, and it seems that we will be without the 60gb model for a while to come.

dual shock controller will be kick ass. it's a shame they didn't have one from the begining. question though, will current games be compatible with it?

sounds good. personally I prefer a little more toe out on the front. maybe another half mil each side. give a little toe in on the rear as that will help it stop moving around under brakes. also how have you set the rear traction rods? I'm also keen to try a little less castor as even though it makes the car feel brilliant on turn in it can make the thing a little nervous in longer fast corners. you may be able to machine up a spacer to go between your lower spring platform and your spring to adjust the height, just need to figure out a way to make sure it stays in place, maybe just 1 or two tack welds would do it.

I reckon harder springs are the winner here and tune a bit with sway bars if you have the stock ones still. maybe try the stock front bar again to dial out a bit of the understeer. I think salad may be right that cusco sell their arms with a mm shorter number, not a degree number. I'll check tonight I have the full cusco catalogue. and whatever you do don't buy some Tein HR, they are very ordinary, and being used will be even more so. buy my Tein RA instead!

yeah, I mean if anything for most of the race alonso was the better prospect for WDC than hamilton by a long way and yet he barely rated a mention. suggesting that hamilton would come from 12th or whatever back up to 4th then have alonso move over whilst they are level on points? they must be farking dreaming. I couldn't believe they kept crapping on about hamilton fighting back, talk about hoping against hope. It was never going to happen unless he had a car out of mario kart that could shoot turtle shells at people and drop banana peels, or maybe use the lightening bolt that makes all other cars small and slow and crushable. then he would be in with a shot...

well I got my 60gb PS3. thank god for that.

another note, apart from taking out his pit crew I thought nakajima was pretty impressive. 5th fastest outright lap, and had plenty of scraps on track even getting ass rammed by coulthard at one point, but he kept it together. he could be on target for a seat next year I reckon.

speaking of rosberg, he's got balls. how was his scrap with heidfeld and kubica? you certainly couldn't accuse him of not trying. questionable judgment sometimes, but he was having a decent go. and good old kubica was there to snap up 2 places in one corner. niiiice.

my god the commentary was powerfully lame. for 80% of the race the only plausible contenders were kimi and alonso. instead they couldn't shut the fk up about hamilton coming through the field. all it showed me is that he has a car that looks to have about 80hp on about 16 of the cars in the field as he blew by them on the straight. but get a grip. many of the places he made up were through other people retiring. as for this penalty to BMW bullshit. hamilton finished a lap down so as far as I know he cannot be bumped up the order. he basically just drove a very poor race. alonso was just plain slow, and kimi didn't put a foot wrong. considering he has come through a year with questionable reliability, with the most wins and the WDC you'd think people would want to talk about kimi not bloody louise and gonzo. sure lewis had a great rookie year, but put it in perspective. I mean he's not driving a minardi. he is driving what is probably the best all round car in the field, in a team he has been associated with for years, on tracks he has raced before. pretty much anyone in the field in that maclaren would be in the top 4 consistently. louise has also shown some questionable ethics, and tactics and just plain bad manners too. personally I think he's a bit of a wanker. good on you kimi.

only the beer baron stayed true to kimi's cause. I know louise and sanchez would crumble. good on you kimi. you deserved it mate. twice cheated before by an unreliable maclaren, how fitting that in part maclaren unreliability (for hamilton in brazil) helped you get this WDC.

it's possible the bars are too stiff and causing it to lift wheels. if you can be arsed it could be worth testing out some different combos if you still have your stock bars. some heavier springs may cure it too. from what I've seen the tracks there look very smooth, so you could certainly go much higher in both front and rear spring and maybe downsize the bars a bit. providing the dampers can cope of course.

yeah thanks mate. the new P laws sure are tough forgot to mention the security gear installed is all aus approved and I have the security certificate for the installation which helps with insurance. I wont name which brand of gear I have for obvious reasons, but rest assured it's top shelf.
