Mint 1996 S2 Vspec R33 Gtr - With Log Books
Beer Baron replied to Beer Baron's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
yeah it's a one in a millon car like this. if you ever wanted a collectible 33 GTR this would be it. Vspec in 100% un molestered condition, with history doesn't come along too often. if left as is it would be worth some decent money one day. -
I've never seen a 32 GTR with a factory alarm or remote central locking. are you sure it's original>

Mint 1996 S2 Vspec R33 Gtr - With Log Books
Beer Baron replied to Beer Baron's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
btw, sorry for the blurry pic of the last item, but for those that can't read it that's a bill from nissan in Kyushu where I spent $1500 on new genuine clutch, clutch install, full inspection and service. -
should be in dealers in japan in late november early december. I just heard today the colour options are: white metallic red silver (apparently $3K premium) grey titanium (sort of bronzey look) that's in the standard model. then there's black edition which is black with special black seats and premium edition there are also options such as better alloys, better tyres, bose system etc. japanese dealers are taking deposits now. price for base model is 8mil JPY + tax(just under $80K AUD). They say delivery for the first orders within 6 weeks of TMS release. should be awesome, my friend was down there today at a japanese nissan dealer and I think he will be buying one. fingers crossed!

can't use it with 34 GTR. or 33 for that matter. 32 only.

Best Looking 'nismo' Badge I Have Seen...
Beer Baron replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
second one looks better. that first one looks like arse. it just screams "fake nismo badge". -
haha, best go at an "I know japanese but I don't know this word so I'll have a stab" translation. I thought you were a nihon-go student funkeh. I hope you don't tell japanese people your gammy is oji-san... they may think it strange.

Hi Guys, I am selling my R33 GTR. It's a september 1996 build Series 2 Vspec in white. It's completely standard and has service book and log book and original owners manual. It was bought by Mark Hocking on Kyushu (sth japan). We bought this car as it had immaculate body work, no accident history at all, and amazingly clean underneath. The only issue it had was a worn out clutch. So I had mark take it to Kyushu nissan service centre and had the clutch replaced with a brand new genuine nissan clutch, and also had the car serviced and had a full inspection done including diagnostic checks etc. The car came through with no reported faults at all. This is probably the nicest standard 33 GTR I have seen. The fact that it still has standard boost, standard exhaust (!) and standard air box tells me it's very unlikely it's ever been thrashed. The car has just 93,000kms which means very low useage of about 9,000kms per year, with log books to back it up. The only mods on the car: sony headunit and some speakers HKS turbo timer Kyushu Nissan Prince floor mats just installed 3 point immobiliser and monitoring alarm The car drives beautifully. After compliance I had the gearbox, diff and transfer case oils replaced with ELF synthetic products, this was done at Unique autosports in seven hills. The car has just over 11 months rego on it. If you are looking for a mint, completely standard GTR to just enjoy or to be able to begin modifying this is the perfect car. I mean how many people other than a new car buyer get the chance to choose EVERY modification on their car? It's pretty cool to be able to start from scratch, I've never seen another GTR with a standard exhaust. SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD Pics:

Here is the deal. for what you want go for a core thickness between 70mm and 100mm. I have seen and sampled lots of coolers and the ones that stand above the rest are ARC and nismo. both can be had around $1500 or so. Me, I would go the ARC, but the nism one is top notch too. for you I would go 70mm for 350rwkw 100mm is overkill and will just starve your radiator of air more than anyting else.

this thread has run it's course mate. you have chosen to commence legal action. so I don't really see any productive advise coming out of this thread. more of peoples opinions, and taking legal advice from an internet forum is not a very good idea. then you may have to sue a poster for giving you bad advice. don't want that. then Slide may sue us for allowing this thread to continue. don't want that either. I would suggest that since you are about to commence legal proceedings against Slide that it is a bad idea to be airing all your business on a public forum. He's offered you a solution, you have said that to you it's not satisfactory so do whatever you think is right, but there is no need to drag it up here.

ok, well it sounds like joe know what he wants. I think from here on it's between joe and sliding. you may be able to get a compromise joe where by they are willing to foot some of the bill for the repair. but either way it's not really suitable for the public forum, probably best to discuss it in private.

if it were me I would send it there, get it fixed then sell it (disclosing the history of course). I mean, you did chose a turbo based on price (well I assume anyway). sadly it hasn't lived up to expectation. try a GCG or HKS etc. I mean sure they cost more, but if you fit it once, and never have to remove it again then overall it's much cheaper. I would probably be not too comfortable with re-fitting it know this could happen again. also, I thought slide built these turbos in house?

yeah their work looks top notch!

yeah Ztune exhaust from nismo is about $7000 off the top of my head. it's full Ti. listed in the current nismo catalogue.

how do you find the ibis in roppongi jeff? I have previously used my friends appartment down the road whilst he was over seas, but if I can't next time i'm in town I was thinking of giving the ibis a shot.

not sure how much rigidity the windscreen provides and if so it would only be in one or two planes and the PC would probably be pretty close. for any car with a roll cage this would be a moot point.
-
nice one. no one is writing it off mate. pretty much everyone who actually understands what a DSG is has said it would be great if that is what it has. CVT or conventional auto though is rubbish in a high performance car. anyone who thinks otherwise has probably never owned a manual high performance car.
