  1. ummm, it's a mini-van made by toyota??? they have options like removable wheel chair etc too.
  2. lol, RDA make DBA? pull the other one. to be honest this is what's happend. you have bought rotors that cost around half the price of most other brands. and pads that cost a third the price of most other brands. bendix ults are hard on rotors, and RDA rotors being half the price of DBA it's not unusual to expect they last half as long. so either buy better rotors and pads, or get used to it I say.
  3. yes, big aussie flag or bust. hmm, or maybe a boxing kangaroo... that could be a winner.
  4. I'm keen as mustard. will have to put my name in and pay a little closer though as my car situation is a bit uncertain atm.
  5. yeah i've had altenator die on the GTST. of all places it died as I was pulling into the inspection station at silverwater. I had to push it into the inspection bay! haha. all I did was get my old man to go home and pinch the battery out of the GTR. I drove as far as I could till the GTST battery died, then did the same on the GTR's battery.
  6. dude! the thread is a year old... maybe pm him if you think he would still have it. but again, 12 months old.
  7. this thing aint to bad either: http://www.jd3.com/bigblock.htm
  8. old news lover boy. it was on ebay about a year ago.
  9. no difference. stick with the 150mms.
  10. actually larger rims make it seem like you are going the limit (on your speedo) when in fact you are over it.... as for the original poster I agree that speeding cameras do not do what they claim (which is deter people from speeding). I mean you didn't even know it was there. you could have been doing 240kph and the camera would do nothing more than send you a bill. hardly good safety if 2 mins after passing the camera you plough into a school bus.... speed cameras do nothing more than tax us hard.
  11. flex are old model now. buy the mono-flex. much better apparently.
  12. my advice is if you can do what you want to do without seperating (ie masking off areas) then do that. I've seen so many people that have split up 3 piece rims only to have a bastard of a time as once re-assembled they did not seal properly anymore and took a lot of farking around to make them good again.

    Gps Devices

i've got the nokia n95. well just got one for my gf. position in 20-30 seconds my arse! it takes about 3 or 4 minutes to get a fix first up, after that it's not too bad, but it keeps telling me to do farken u-turns all over the place! like even on major divided roads etc. it does recalculate routes pretty fast though. but I still reckon you are better off with a cheaper phone and a dedicated navi. the n95 does have some other benefits though like 5mp camera and wireless internet so you can surf for free anywhere with wireless, and even use VOIP like skype to make free phonecalls.
  14. yeah that's a much better idea. stick hamilton in the b team and let webbo and gonzo team up in the a team. then we'll see if webber is any good.
  15. yeah our mini is well hard.
  16. lol, I would like to be rich enoug to buy it, pop it open and drink the farker. could be a little cheeky after 100years+ though...
  17. yeah dead32 they have to be R32 GTR wheels but thanks for the offer. steve, sevs comlpiance requires the car to be as it was presented for the approval, and wheels etc are all down to what is in the evidence pack. so it must have standard wheels to be passed.
  18. f**k spengler. get webber in the merc B team!
  19. happy birthday you shifty bastard.
  20. geez, give me break. Slide hardly contributes a massive amount of money to the forum so potential loss of sponsorship is not a reason at all to tip-toe around things and to be honest hadn't even crossed my mind. These issues have been discussed with the other administrators of the forum, and if you thought about things a bit you would easily understand our position. we do not side with traders. nor do we side with members. we are not a legal judge. how do we know you are not making up your claims? we would look a tad foolish if we took sanctions on a trader because of unfounded accusations by a member. I would go as far to say we would be open for some nasty legal recourse if we did that. so if you have a problem with a trader (business or even another member). then my advice to you is as follows: *attempt to resolve it between the two parties *use the trader rating system to leave negative feedback *contact and administrator with your concerns *use whatever legal means neccesary to resolve things *advise forum administrators of any outcomes/judgements made *do the smart thing and don't deal with that person anymore We cannot judge a business trader to be bad based on a few posts in a thread. lack of comunication is bad service, but it's not criminal and the only person that damages is the business (well and the person waiting for their phone call/email/message). As far as I know here no-one has been ripped off, just people who are sick of waiting for overdue parts and even replies. yes that sucks but we cannot tell sliding performance how to conduct their business. We are a forum, not a successful business coach. Any trader that we were informed had a legal judgement made against them, that invloved criminal, or dishonest behaviour of course we would review their rights on SAU immediately, but that is not the case here.
  21. even with the lockbar I would strongly advise using a compatible hicas boss kit with your steering wheel. the hicas computer also control power steering function and you don't want to mess it up.
  22. lol, she certainly is a thoughtful and enthusiastic girlfriend! that's for sure.
  23. Hi guys, I need some help. I need some standard R32 GTR wheels (must have roadworthy tyres on) to borrow for a few days tops. I wont be driving on them at all. It's just so the car can sit in the workshop and be passed by the engineer. In return you can use my Kakimoto 17X9 wheels which have road legal tyres with heaps of tread on them. I already have a kind offer for a loan, but it's a fair whack for me to drive out there and back, and then out again to return them. and at the moment I just don't have the time unfortunately. I need them sometime this week if possible, and will happily sling you some cash or a case of beer for the trouble. If possible I'd like to do the swap in brookvale (near manly) but we could work something else out if it's not too far. Thanks.

    350z S-tune

yep, never sold here. I've seen quite a few in japan and actually my friends wants to buy one. they are very reasonable price wise. from memory the s-tune package is about 1mil yen over the price of the 350 and you can get it that way from a nissan dealrship. I really hope that at least they strip the f$%k out of it before crushing it. Or even better they may as well just re-export it back to japan. I know of at least one dude in tokyo who would buy it! lol.
