  1. NO. you need to set your fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge. do not just bolt on an adjustable reg and hope for the best. could be a recipe for disaster.
  2. they are not bad. the manifold they come with (cast low mount) is not too bad either. BUT they are old and a bit laggy for the power they produce. I say bin it and replace it with a T04Z but keep your manifold and wastegate. if the car was tuned well to begin with a re-tune is not 100% neccessary (but if you can do it one would be advisable to get the best out of it).
  3. both the clips come out, just put some grunt into it! one allows reach adjustment (in and out) the other allows rake adjustment (up and down). at 6'5" sadly it may never be a comfy place to be.
  4. snowman, could be worth pming duncan. he was chasing a set a little while ago.
  5. agree with that 100%. unless maybe we are talking 7 litre supercharged V8?
  6. mmm 30 mins is over. let it out. I can feel you all holding it in for the win.
  7. lol, don't push bec, I had a few beer with lunch and can get grumpy.
  8. lol, man that was close, it's like the forbidded phrase, only backwards... and I wonder if quoting me saying it, counts as you saying it... hmmmm. lol
  9. yeah fair question redgtst, but i wont budge too much. i mean if you rocked up on my door step with $800 in hand and intention to buy then i probably wont kick you out, but other than that i'm not going to be lowballing myself. if they don't sell I will keep them, as non-rooted R32 GTR drivers seats get harder to find every year, and I once had 3 of them (one in the GTST, one in the 32 GTR and one spare). Now I just have 1 good one, so if I sell it it means I don't have any for my 32 GTR (it has 34 GTR seats in it) and I know I could never easily replace them for that money should I one day want to go back to stock seats. edit: I will put some pics up tonight.
  10. yeah for the next half hour the next person to post FTW or ftw or For the win in this thread get's a warning level increase of my choice. so the question is, do you feel lucky??? punk.
  11. don't think i'm being a prick cause i'm not. and i dont mind helping people out (i even drove a whole van load full of dudes to daikoku PA once) but sometimes it's good to help yourself a bit too there is a map. in english. it even has the street names. the prefecture, everything you could possibly need. as for a whole map of tokyo and it's roads you would need a football field to spread that baby out and have it in any readable size. and cartoon map? it just looks like a normal map to me, and better than most (ie more detailed). if you can't figure it out from that you have pretty close to zero chance of making it there if you are driving. FYI Yokohama Bay Bridge is a massive landmark, and it's marked on that map. and you will be taking that bridge from tokyo. and yes I posted this info already in this thread.
  12. dude, it has english 'romaji' for all the japanese words.
  13. no, that's his girlfriends silvia. his brothers silvia ended smashed into a concrete wall. that's the kind of remodeling i try to avoid....
  14. have you read this very thread you're posting in? there is a map of it like 2 posts above!
  15. i couldn't see them before, but I CAN see them now. you guys that can't seem them, do the old clean out cookies and temp files, and log out, then log back in and try it.
  16. that sums it up pretty well. also if buying one second hand be very wary. some will be tuned for say 700cc injectors. if you are still running standard 440cc injectos your tune will be massively lean and couple that with the quite agressive ign they often have and you will be in major trouble.
  17. it's supposed to be like that. don't worry about it. and turns out I was wrong now the question is should I go back and edit all posts to conceal the crime???
  18. yep, it's cluster only. i've pissed mine off since running the defi gauges and never looked back if you want this map sensor dunc, just give me a yell and I'll pop it in the mail for you to play with.
  19. yeah it's H pattern. you can see him shifting throug the gears.
  20. nismo pump is a good choice. and no you wont need to upgrade the fuel reg. standard one is fine.
  21. you are a good friend pete. just swing buy and pick it up. just don't remodel it like you did to your brothers silvia....
  22. lol, Greg to the rescue! Well, when I run out of tyres I know what I'll be using, and where I'll be buying them.
  23. lol, I know I can, cause I've got the same one
  24. here is the boost curve. it don't get much more stable than that and it brings on boost early, and hard.
  25. yeah duncan, for the logging you will need a map sensor that can input to your logger. the factory map sensor should do the job. if you want another map sensor I have one here, you can have it for free (I still owe you for some sun visors from eons ago). I bought it when I though my map sensor was dead (turns out I was wrong). I use a defi gauge which doesn't just have peak, it records. can only record 5 minutes at a time, but it's cool cause I can do a few laps with it recording, then pull into the pits and play it back and watch boost, oil pressure, oil temp and fuel pressure in real time. as for a good boost controller the HKS EVC IV and the Blitz SBC ID III are both supposed to be very good. I use a Greddy Profec B II and it holds my boost flat as a tack, so for me it's a very good controller. and they are cheap.
