  1. still no one has told me what happend to shauns car?
  2. yeah i was keeping it on the down low... guy incognito. you never know who i may have accused of being homosexual on the forum only to meet them in real life and get my face stepped on... my pretty, pretty face.
  3. andrew snowman is the tall south american looking dude, with the long hair. you will know him when you meet him he talks with a bit of a lisp.
  4. i have to call you on that geoff. i have owned both a 32 GTR and 33 GTR at the same time. and I think they both looked great. but I am in love with the 32 shape. have been since I was a little tacker so for me 32 GTR is the one that holds tight on my heart and wallet. but i agree that in general everyone with a 32 will tell you 32 looks better, everyone with a 33 will tell you 33 looks better. otherwise they wouldn't have bought it... as for this thread. well both the cars you posted are GTRs... and the 34 looks much nicer. the 33 looks terrible with that kit and colour. but do whatever you want. you don't need me to tell you it looks good (or not in this case).
  5. i think chris is on the right track now. for front brakes: GTR rotor needs GTR caliper (296mm rotor) GTST rotor needs GTST caliper (280mm rotor) the both use the same size pad for rear both use the same pad both use the same rotor (297mm) - yes rears are larger than front. trust me. it's true.
  6. not it's not difficult to understand at all. is it difficult to understand this?: "if you want to swap to GTR set-up you will need GTR calipers and GTR rotors." to read between the lines a bit here. edit: lol the blind elk beat me too it. edit2: yes i'm positive GTR front is 296mm GTR rear is 297mm. edit3: i'm not trying to be a prick here, but you asked a question, i answered it. you read what you wanted to read and got narky.
  7. i'm thinking about bailing out on this. just realised there is an eastern creek track day on that weekend. and I'm hanging to get out there. and save myself the 2000km driving (equal to about 6 months worth of kms for me).
  8. easiest way to tell is this. put your head in the engine bay. rev the engine (using your hand on the throttle), let it go sharply. as you do (and the revs start to fall) if the noise goes dead silent, then kicks back in once the revs reach idle then it's injectors (as they all shut off for a split second).
  9. fatz is selling a NOS kit for $800 bottle included. I say just do that. at least then you will have the benefit of NOS instead of all the negatives (attention, potential missle in your car, weight, theft etc).
  10. observed licence test. you have to basically participate in a race meet, or mock race and be observed to be able to race safely, overtake safely, allow faster cars to overtake you safely etc. and you need the NC or NR licence BEFORE you start importing a car. ie before you do ANYTHING. as you will need it to apply for the import approval. to be honest unless you are serious about racing in a state or national series then forget it. The cost of keeping your NC licence active will run to over $1000 a year at the best and probably a lot more when you factor in how many race meets a year you have to do to keep it going.
  11. lol, 1st or 2nd? sorry dude, but I know of at least a dozen GTSTs I have seen over the years with GTR quarter panels in place of the GTST ones. and in reality there are probably many more than that kicking around. it's a cool thing to do to a GTST though.
  12. ouch! that's gold. nice one snowcone.
  13. i reckon maybe now we are getting lots more times we could expand to a top 20 to give retards like me and troy a chance of getting back on there!
  14. they say level 3 because they have NFI what they are talking about... look at the cams site. there is no such thing. there was a C3 but it has been NC PC or NR for well over a year now. the process is, pay your money. do an OLT, compete in a fixed number of racing events (not track days, proper door to door racing like improved production, v8 supercar etc), off the top of my head it's 6 or 8 in any 12 month period, do a medical then you can upgrade from NC to PC. but as djr81 said look at the cams website.
  15. yeah there is no such thing as a 'level 3' what they mean is PC (then NC) or NR.
  16. shaun, what happend to your GTR? I must have missed this story? last time I saw it it was still running around after steve had blown his up. and rukus! get your shit together home boy... it makes me sad to think of all the broken GTRs sitting around. just FIX IT!
  17. yes, it's currently not working since the forum upgrade. there are a number of threads on it now in this section.

lol, well it was outside nismo omori factory so i can't take all the credit... hehe. it didn't even have D1 coffee though or even any good boss, but it did have some nice sweet cocoa (yes I know i'm camp).
  19. well as usual Sewid has very sound advice. to be honest the type you buy (32vs33) is no where near as important as the particular car you buy. there are stunning, mint condition 32 GTRs out there, and there are thrashed, crashed dodgey 33s out there. same works in reversve too. for $30K you should be able to find a nice condition (either very low km, or restored/modified) R32 GTR, possibly even a Vspec or VspecII, or you can find a nice, stock 33 GTR. anyone who owns a 33 is going to tell you 33 is the best. everyone who owns a 32 is going to tell you 32 is the best. I have owned both 32 and 33 GTR at the same time, and all I can tell you is that they are 'different' try some of each for yourself.

you want yakiniku? I can deliver more... the aftermarth (and yes we ate all that between 2): and too go with it how about some ramen? and maybe some gyoza and a nama beeru? (in this case, malts beer, one of my favourites) - make every time suntory time... lol after all that you can grab a drink from a Nismo vending machine
  21. stop saying emo.
  22. somehow I seem to have someones pisston in my pocket?
  23. for genuine parts the best place is nissan. nissan australia stock or order all the 32 GTR parts. i don't know about seat fabric though, don't think you can get that either here or in japan.
  24. yes, you guys are a few beers short of a 6-pack. road racing means racing on road circuits. ie race tracks (not ovals/speedways). if he meant street racing he would have said street racing. i have a GTR that is street registered and yes still street driven but used on the race track. most of the guys on here who drive their skylines on the track are NOT dedicated track cars/race cars.
  25. well depends what condition your paint is. if it's old bodgey paint then who cares. personally I would NEVER take my car there.
