  1. yeah to read BFOT.
  2. i think he was going to, but would need a dyno upgrade to 20" dyno rollers with spinners to handle it? well that's what I heard anyway.
  3. well if there are 4 lines coming out of the remote filter mount you have a thermo-stat built in. so no need to worry. the gold bolt is just a blanking plate. you can remove it and run a sensor there. it's not the thermo stat.
  4. they look like stock cams to me.
  5. are you selling this with the transfer case or is it just the gearbox alone? and if it's sans transfer case do you know if the 32 transfer case will mate up to the 34 getrag box?
  6. it's probably a bit hard for them to quote as they need to get the thing to look at it as there may be other things wrong with it than just what you can see/know about.
  7. d'oh! ! well not unless I can get troy drunk... lol are you still having the problem? It has happend to me in the past, but i just deleted all cookies, and deleted all temp internet files.
  8. lol, sorry paul. i whinged hard. and yes it has been said i have lots of pull. or perhaps that i like a pull. i can't remember. sorry for anyone running compak attack, but for those spectating it should be easily possible to do both. UAS is just 20 mins from WSID. i definately wont be going to compak attack. i've been to one before and it was pretty bad. I hope they have pulled a finger out and put on a good event for you guys who keep supporting it.
  9. one as low as 230hp exploded going down the main straight at oran park. benm i'm guessing was around 300rwkw exploded on launch at WSID. there was another guy on here with a GTR and a JB clutch and stock flywheel that exploded (Paul will remember I think he worked on the car, or knew the guy at least) I can't remember the nickname of the guy or the exact circumstance. a friend in a silvia had one go with around 200rwkw. can probably dig out more examples but that should be enough.
  10. you can do it any way you want, doesn't really matter. but man, driving 50km to the track is not going to massively wear out your tyres. i would suggest changing the wheels over at home. the day before, week before whatever. taking 8 wheels to the track is a biatch and not even possible in a 32 (may be possible in a 33).
  11. also happens if your cat temp sensor has been removed but the dude that did it has left part of the wiring where it can contact and earth out on the car body. this causes the warning light to come on.
  12. i know tell me about it. at the GP everyone was kind enough to let me snake beers from their eskies. if I tried that shit in nsw I would get a 2X4 over the back of my head right as I reached for a cold one.
  13. lol, it is called an affogato after all. but you fail to mention that ice cream and coffee came with a shot and I was the only one man enough to get any drinks in. everyone else just hurled excuses out there.
  14. did you read any of the replies in your thread? I already said: "if you want to swap to GTR set-up you will need GTR calipers and GTR rotors." and: "the GTR rotors are bigger, 296mm vs 280mm for the GTST ones." sometimes I have to admit I wonder why reply at all...
  15. i did it to annoy you. sorry. will change it back in a minute
  16. i would say nismo brake lines or APP are very nice. I've had maltec ones before and they were ok, but no sheathing on the line (i put some on myself though).
  17. if there are 4 lines going to the filter relocator then it has a thermostat inside it. if there are just 2 lines (one in, one out) of the filter reloactor and no other obvious external oil-stat then it doesn't have one
  18. muhahahaha.
  19. lol, i'm just kidding. do what you will.... . seriously though, don't do it. i'll f**k you up.
  20. yeah you can get a little sheet of perspex, or alluminium to block all or part of the core. but if it's a good kit it will have a thermostat so the oil wont be flowing through the core unless the oil temp is above 80degrees.
  21. paul, you toucha my car, i puta my foot in yo ass! lol, i may look like a teddy bear but don't make me loose it. and yeah smoky is definately a soft target, i say go for it.
  22. i can vouch for that fact. when I used it a couple of weeks ago it was in tip top shape plus it's multi fit so you can use with any type of hub (ie. momo, sparco, nardi etc will fit them all).
  23. they would be ok, but no where near as good as drag radials as the sidewalls of the toyos (like all circuit biased semi slicks) is soo stiff it doesn't give that great launch you can get with the drag radials.
