  1. Not necessarily. You can max out your AFM with higher airflow then it was designed to meter but if you only have a standard RB25 turbo bolted on it shouldn't max your AFM
  2. What he said...... lol Had to change my PW when i signed in again
  3. F$%@#$^!@ excellent! Spa is my all time favourite track and think its one of the better real life tracks out there, def downloading this
  4. I thought I read somewhere about the missfiring.... that they didnt fire 1 cylinder out of 4 combustion cycles or something like that but cant find that info now only what your saying zebra. Must have been dreaming that day lol. but anyway, the only way I could see it working is having a Power FC pro with launch control (or another ecu that supports this) setting your launch control to a certain RPM and retarding the timing in those cells.... an RB will not push a turbo at idle
  5. Its not as simple as doing this, you wont make boost on idle, the engine just isn't producing enough exhaust gas just sitting there. Rally cars that have anti-lag require a fair amount of revs and basically misfire certain cylinders and play with fuel and timing. It's not real great for the engine either I dont think but they throw a new engine at the car every rally All R33 GTS-t's have VCT
  6. I'd love an E46 M3, maybe one day I can have one as a daily and the 33 can be a track car Hope you dont sell the 33 to soon, we still need to head up there for a meet up

if your just driving it around the street and not doing much mods to the car I'd say keep it if its working I got rid of mine cause the rear end was starting to feel a bit sketchy the more I did to the car. Feels better with a lock bar in for me, but down to the driver to I guess
  8. Series 8 RX7
  9. No I mean AFR. AFM Voltage is irrelevant for me because it doesn't determine how much fuel the engine is getting at a certain point. It merely tells how much air is coming in to the engine so the ecu can work it out If your hitting 5v at WOT then sounds like your maxing out the AFM anyway
  10. Yeah thats fair enough. I'm going to head out west for a bit next year to save for a house. I've got a little bit of savings so far but its next to nothing compared to what I need. I might be keen on some parts when it comes time to sell anyway
  11. yeah you wont get amazing speed out of them but should be enough to support max speed on your ADSL+2 download speeds on my PS3 seem good anyway. Had some trouble with mine recently not connecting (the two EoP units) but up until then It ran faultlessly. Still not sure what happened but I've moved some stuff around and its all good again
  12. Google it? youll get better info then anyone will be bothered to type lol....... have alot of features but
  13. I bought an EoP (Ethernet over Power) set for mine. Plugs into the wall at your router and turns your power cables into a network basically. Just plug the PS3 into the wall unit with a CAT5 cable and works a treat I got sick of constantly getting droupouts on my PS3 and t-box so now I have a 5 port router in my room so I get "wired" internet despite the fact the actual router connected to the internet is several rooms away.
  14. turbotech (?) boost tee off ebay, $20 and there are many people that swear by them
  15. yeah was just saying, because its possible to put a small crack in it. And while yes it is easy to get one from a wrecker, its hard to get your car home when you cant engage your clutch Just trying to help, not saying it wouldnt work
  16. This If I had to get a new ECU I'd get a VIPEC
  17. What AFR's was it running at cruise speed?
  18. Parting out, don't do it, it's a trick Keep it just stop spending money
  19. Hope that is a hypothetical situation lol
  20. The hard line or the hose? Just be careful as both might be fairly brittle after so many years in service I got a HEL braided clutch line in PMR33's group buy. Cheap and good product
  21. No MAP sensor on RB20's. Well not that interact with the ECU anyway I'd try and borrow an AFM to try that. Silly question but could it be your driving style?
  22. Ok well that might be part of the problem. RB20 ECU's are alot more forgiving with non factory mods but because that turbo is pushing slightly more air then expected, your ecu might be adding to much fuel to compensate as a safety. Clean your AFM, replace your O2 sensor, check your filter, and do an ECU reset. This might help it I'd still recommend Putiting it on a dyno to check AFR's at cruise and under load
  23. When you put it back on make sure you plug the internal temp sensor and hose for your air con back in (just to the left of your steering wheel) It's easy to forget and if you do your auto climate control won't work properly (will be hot on all temps except 18 degrees)
  24. New speedo cable Is only about $110 from memory. Just get a new one
  25. Hold up. Gts4 with an RB25 turbo? Does this mean engine or just the turbo on the rb20? And has it been bolted to an N/A engine if so?
