  1. My HKS Hi Power Silent is JASMA stamped, and i dare say its not quiet, and its def not restrictive haha.
  2. oh god that made my brain go all funky
  3. And you dug up a 2 year old thread to tell everyone this?
  4. Lol after all that i clicked that link above and its all there for you Oh well. i was shit bored anyway. Kept me occupied. haha
  5. edited for noobness.
  6. you use the standard bolts and gasket to bolt the adaptor to the crossover pipe, then use the bov bolt and gasket to bolt thhe bov to the adaptor
  7. i have a scarles adapter for my Greddy BOV. Works fine.
  8. My 10 min job with PlastX. Sanding works.. but i CBF going through all that effort hehe
  9. Make sure your sitting down when he tells you the cost
  10. yeah so does this sack of crap
  11. Id agree. If its sucking closed, pop the filter out and see if it still does it I always thought the suction was cased by a restriction too. Kinda like when something big gets caught in your vacuum cleaner pipe.. revs go up, and the plastic hose flexes.. haha
  12. there must be a reason it hasnt been up to temp? Take it for a drive, and if it cooks dont buy it
  13. Wow! When i saw the thread title i was thinking uughh should i bother posting? As id assumed you were spraying it. haha. Not many people realize that matt black breaks down in about 6 months in the sun and needs another few coats! LOL. But this! It looks fantastic! Always thought the Matt finish looked pretty swish, but too many try hard gangstas with spray cans killed the effect. Well done. Its looking great. Out of curiosity.. does it have any detrimental effects to the paint underneath should you decide to tear it off one day? My old daily hack... Only kept it Matt as its how it was when i bought it. Looked mint when i 1st sprayed it again, but this is about 5 months later. Goes all blotchy and poop.
  14. Nengun have Splitfires on special at the moment for $497AU shipped.. just incase you hadnt looked yet. I just ordered two sets I was going to get yellow jackets myself. But after buying them through the New Zealand distributor it was only going to cost an extra $90. And i guess the wait.. being Nengun. But i have been pleasantly surprised by them before!
  15. you lost me at "your download will start in 49 seconds" hehe. ^^ agreed with above
  16. I know you have already done it and its mint, but do you not have this bracket? (the one myself and Arthur_T3 mentioned) You can see the bracket on the back of the De-cat pipe, the CLOSEST bolt you can see. The bracket loops over the flange to the other bolt, then bolts to the chassy with a rubber mount. Ill get a proper pic tomorrow for ya seeing as the car will be on the hoist for inspection. If not it must have been taken off and dumped Cos you shouldnt have needed to get one welded on. Never mind tho!
  17. Thats allright for a full exhaust! Most off the shelf catbacks are getting up there unless they are on special! Go get a clip of how it sounds
  18. Yeah i was thinking that too ^^ The bracket isnt welded on anyway is it? Its bolted behind the rear of the cat flange? My HKS front pipe actually came with a new rubber bracket for some reason.
  19. I was thinking exactly this. And seeing as they are known for snapping under OEM conditions it wouldnt be ideal. Chop and weld could be the best. Or if its not too much, file out the holes a touch.
  20. Apparently you dont use joiners. There are O rings inside it, you slip the pipe into each end, and tighten grub screws around it.
  21. it should be. someone muffed it up when they made it. cant you just take it back and get a new one?
  22. You just looked at it? Or did you try? It might be ok.
