Good work mate. I'm reliving all the memories of my drive vicariously through your post knowing it's going to be a long time until I drive another one.
I for one don't mind reading all the back story, good reviews are never just about numbers and boring facts most of us already knew anyway.
Nismo don't make any S-Tune anything anymore so there will be no light tune R35 GT-R from Nismo. Nissan make all the S-Tune stuff now but will unlikely go much further than stickers and aero parts to retail at dealerships.
That does not rule out an R-Tune version and I'm guessing this is already in development. Nismo have a lot on their plate though developing the SuperGT car so I think this is not a priority.
Sorry to be the party pooper...
none of these wheels will look like this on the R35. The offsets are wrong there is not enough width under the guards to do these wheels in this way and none of those would clear the front brakes.
TE37's will look like this and you wont get much more offset without widening the guards which will probably look bad.
Not you. I'm making fun of merlin. I always knew he had magical powers. Some say he drives a car that has no roof and yet never gets wet in the rain...
Exhaust is significantly different as well. Not much else is known. It's probably not the V-Spec yeah but a lot of the lessons learnt will go into the V-Spec I'd say.
