  1. Nissan recommend not exceeding 3500 rpm the first 2,000km. There most definitely is run in period with the GT-R.
  2. Good work mate. I'm reliving all the memories of my drive vicariously through your post knowing it's going to be a long time until I drive another one. I for one don't mind reading all the back story, good reviews are never just about numbers and boring facts most of us already knew anyway.
  3. looks the goods now
  4. Yeah but for how long? My car has one of those clutches. It's pretty much garbage compared to a decent twin plate.
  5. Have fun mate
  6. Great thread. You take good photos.
  7. I still haven't given you those pics I promised... i'll upload them when I'm at home next...
  8. Nismo isn't massive in terms of people. Right now is very busy for everyone there.
  9. No they are not offering test drives on the GTR. They are inviting you to test drive their other cars at the dealership around the corner.
  10. no. They're $80 pickup/delivered. Postage is next to nothing so i'm not flexible there.
  11. Nismo don't make any S-Tune anything anymore so there will be no light tune R35 GT-R from Nismo. Nissan make all the S-Tune stuff now but will unlikely go much further than stickers and aero parts to retail at dealerships. That does not rule out an R-Tune version and I'm guessing this is already in development. Nismo have a lot on their plate though developing the SuperGT car so I think this is not a priority.

    Black On Black

Sorry to be the party pooper... none of these wheels will look like this on the R35. The offsets are wrong there is not enough width under the guards to do these wheels in this way and none of those would clear the front brakes. TE37's will look like this and you wont get much more offset without widening the guards which will probably look bad.
  13. That much I expected. Who is showing the GT-R at the Melbourne show?
  14. yeah, there was already a discussion on this... can't remember where the thread is.
  15. was sold sorry. updated the post
  16. Cheers for organising it. All the food was good as per usual. Thanks everyone for coming.
  17. Not you. I'm making fun of merlin. I always knew he had magical powers. Some say he drives a car that has no roof and yet never gets wet in the rain...
  18. bwahaha merlin. don't forget your robe and wizard hat tonight ok.
  19. Yes. Nissan produced far less non V-Spec R34 GTR's than the combined V-Spec, V-Spec II, M-Spec, Nur models.
  20. Whiling away the hours on www.lolcats.com again Adam?
  21. I am still going Andrew ! Please change the booking to 10 for me +1...

    I'm In Denial!

You've gotta drive it before you write it off like that. It certainly does not feel it's weight.
  23. Exhaust is significantly different as well. Not much else is known. It's probably not the V-Spec yeah but a lot of the lessons learnt will go into the V-Spec I'd say.
  24. Ok merged your thread with the original one from way back minix3. Same car as you can see.
