  1. You should wrap them in exhaust wrap if you intend to track the car in my opinion. That or have them ceramic coated.
  2. Tomei porn:
  3. I have Tomei dumps also. I used those Trust long front/dump combo pipes before and wont do that again. HKS are good looking dumps too.
  4. Yeah - it's one of the best.

    Sold R35v Gtr

I did the math and came out around $135k including: - FOB cost of the car, buyers fees, freight, bank fees - Import Duty, GST, LCT, Wharf fees, AQIS fees, DOTARS Fees and customs agents fees - Compliance costs, Registration, Green Slip, Stamp Duty - Comprehensive insurance for $120k - Import Broker fees (which you dont need to add but I chucked in anyway) Did not include any warranty because I do not believe an aftermarket warranty is really worth the paper it's printed on
  6. For comparison: Amuse Trust
  7. I like the other aftermarket quad outlet designs over this but it could have looked a lot worse.
  8. Couple of pics of MCR's red R35 GT-R with a new ARC exhaust have been going around. Looks a lot better than I would have thought. Also - can you identify the rims? I was hoping they might be BBS LMs? I don't know though. Anyway story and more (larger) pics at click here.

    Black R35 Coming

Not sure why anyone would want the seats. There's a good reason why everyone has replaced them in their 35's already... Theres no side bolstering to speak of and the driving position is a little high. They look nice enough I suppose, maybe on some custom rails they'd be ok for a daily driver GTR.
  10. Don't you work in North Ryde? I work in the same building as you I think you bought some cam covers off me once. I have a consult cable. PM me if you are the same guy I'm thinking of.
  11. Yep this topic has run its course. If you want to discuss something that is not an R35 GT-R please do so in the General automotive forum. Edit: On second thought I decided to re-open this as it's only a small minority not posting nicely. If that continues i will be removing their posts only.
  12. If it's turbo then it's Type-M. All turbos are type-M irrespective of what they look like.
  13. Duncan is on the money here. Why are you breaking belts at all? You need to regularly maintain these and if you broke one once surely you'd have figured that out. Perhaps there is something else going on there. You shouldn't be relying on NRMA to fix your car. It's roadside assistance not prepaid mechanic....

    Sold R35v Gtr

    Thanks for the detailed post.
  15. You can ask Crystal to order it in and EMS it to you if your really keen. You save on tax too apparantly. I like Crystal and always spend loads of money there but i'm always buggered at the end of the day treking back to Tokyo with armloads of heavy parts. Lugged 20kg of turbos this time. Won't be doing that again.
  16. Was probably the one seen on the docks the other day. Good spotting.
  17. It's the front grille lower section.
  18. haha you must've just seen them before I did Yeah i bought some... damn impulse shopping No idea what i'll do with them but ah well.

  21. Loads of pics of the Top Secret R35 GTR now up! Click: http://www.gtrblog.com/index.php?blog=4&am...p;tb=1&pb=1
  22. You're crazy! I thought spending $450 on a keyring and a wallet was a lot. Congrats though it certainly was a hot item. Those Ginza girls were alright too and almost talked me into a few more purchases but i resisted. The GTR Collection was not for sale at Auto Salon as far as I could see did you get your briefcase in Ginza? I got a bunch of GTR collection catalogs but couldn't see the actual items there.
  23. 6 - 8 months given no budget restriction.
  24. Richard another RAWS already has 1 GTR in Australia and another one TBD soon. There will definitely be more than 1 company doing compliance which is a good thing.
