  1. He said half of what its worth The price went down now anyway, it now sports broken sway links lol
  2. I don't want to comment between the differences as I have not directly compared the two, hopefully Lithium has some data he can share with you. However bare in mind that the EFR can be had IWG and has been done on an RB26 by Full-Race themselves. To my knowledge boost control was sweet and the package worked well. If you are comparing apples to apples (BB to BB) the additional on the EFR is absorbed by the gates and additional plumbing. Food for thought.
  3. http://www.full-race.com/store/efr-turbo-manifolds/nissan-rb26-25-20-det-t-twin-scroll-iwg-efr-turbo-manifold.html http://www.full-race.com/store/efr-turbos/borgwarner-efr-7670-turbo-2.html I will come and give you $2,000 USD for your car TONIGHT.
  4. Sorry, I'm getting confused between this post and the one in the EFR thread defending a 300rpm improvement on the premise of transient response.
  5. NP In a nut shell anything that will make full use of the available 103lbm is going to spend a lot of time a long way above 4k. My comments were more so in reference to anyone on SAU building an RB25 for big power. Personally I would not be too worried about an extra 500cc when talking 1000hp. The added cubes isn't about to turn your 1000hp weapon into a purry little kitten with a 3071 Of course, this is purely academic. I can only offer you my opinion and until such time as proof is presented to suggest otherwise you should make your own determination.
  6. Oh my bad, I was only looking at the first graphs you posted. Once I opened the FB link I saw the 900ps run. So 300rpm and 150kw. Interesting. Transient response lel
  7. So 300rpm and 30-50kw improvement over an old hat T04Z?
  8. This is a mod for the RB based engines, so it is not specifically relevant to your M35 which runs a VQ motor. However the principals are much the same, you could get creative and do something similar.
  9. Without cams I believe 350kw to be normal. With cams I would expect a maximum of 380kw on 98. DVS JEZ dyno is on par with Unigroup, which is known to be very shy on numbers. I believe you are on par for where you should be.
  10. I've built 3x cars already. I even whittled the blocks from cast slabs.
  11. Considering the suggested output I think a Super99 is as at home on a 2.5L as it is a 3L. Its got a full kilo up its sleeve, not something that is as dependent on displacement as it is outright flow. If I am leaving you a little confused do a little reading on the reg changes for 2014 F1.
  12. This could be read as it is safe to run 22psi on the stock ecu with a highflow, which is very wrong. Please fix your post so we keep everything accurate. What is the correct maximum amount of boost you have safely run on a stock ECU with a highflow?
  13. Yep that R32 unit looks fantastic.
  14. Would you consider a swap? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441068-nsw-swap-2004-magna-vrx/
  15. Just to reconfirm, am happy to trade for an auto or sedan if it comes available and just to reiterate I do not want to pay cash your way. I want to be as respectful as possible but have to ask that any person considering PMing me; please look at the average prices on carsales etc before asking me for anything on top. I am not going to pay. Cheers,
  16. If it was fully assembled when posted - No. Not unless it received such a massive shock that it PHYSICALLY damaged the compressor housing, by means of cracking it. That would be one BIG impact. I recommend you ask the seller why he removed it and ask for PROOF. I hate to be the nay sayer but I think you will find he took it off knowing it was making a whaling noise.
  17. Whining siren type noises from a turbo is usually the sound of the compressor hitting the housing. I would check this ASAP.
  18. Photo of le vehicle in case anyone is picturing something different (there were a few iterations of these cars, this one being the less common yet better looking variant). Cheers,
  19. For those who don't have oodles of experience it can be confusing because the 6boobs use circular entries. Just a normal T3 gasket is needed tho, as you said. However I do not think the twin scroll flange used by 6boobs is anything special either. I think its the same as the Garret T3 twin scroll flange.
  20. Taking consideration that my SS1PU made 30kw less than your test car (at the time on p98 w/cams) before it was maxed out, I am going to apply the same reduction to my GTX. In the end my car pulled the MPH to support happier numbers so I believe that's fair. Just putting that out there before we compare the results from the 2. My car is a complete back to back, I have only changed the manifold and turbo. Considering I went to T3 high mount I should have more lag than you. We will compare results soon enough. I'm sure they will either drive sales for yourself or give you something new to strive for
  21. Its quite common actually, I considered it for my own... Though it seems redundant when you can buy a china stainless for chips. I would put a J pipe on a similar level... However I also think it could be effectively employed for the 300kw mark.
  22. Definitely a problem with the manifold. I would say the jig used to make it would likely be overused and out of shape. There is nothing unusual about the size of an SS2, its definitely not going to be much larger than a GT30/35 based turbo.
  23. That housing is nearly all turbine lol Surely that cant have a good nozzle area? You must have lost heaps when machining it to suit the turbine.
  24. Stao seemed pretty confident its a 60-1, I wonder if he can confirm in any better detail?
  25. Hey guys, I have had a 2004 Mitsu Magna since it had only 28,000 km. I have looked after it since and it has been a great daily. I have put <100,000 ks on it in my ownership. The good: - VGC second owner car - 3.5L motor with 5 speed tiptronic auto - Timing belt, water pump, all pulleys and belts changed 10ks ago - Brand new Pedders sports rider shocks all round with Pedders springs - Tinted windows and awesome perfect working aircon The bad: - Blemished front bar from when the Mrs has driven the car in carparks etc. - Sagging of the bolsters on the front seats, only minor and barely an issue The car is actually in fantastic condition and will suit anyone who wants a GOOD reliable sedan or family car. It chews less fuel than your comparable falcodore and IMHO goes a lot nicer, too. I am looking to swap this for a turbo R33 of some description. Potentially a sedan, auto or manual does not concern me. There is not even one of these cars for sale at the minute, only the older model which people are asking $5,500 - $8,000 for depending on condition. Therefore I will not be offering a cash component of any kind, ONLY a straight swap. Do not contact me regarding your highly modified car and ask for X dollars your way. No. No. No. If you have a good honest car and are genuinely interested in doing a straight swap for this Magna please PM me. Pics and inspection can be arranged anytime. Thanks,
