  1. Willwood make some nice gear, but this isnt it Nasty kits. The one above cant even assemble the kit properly for the catalogue photos
  2. At the end of the day i think Vettel is a better package, but it counts for nothing. If Webbar can out qualify Vettel he will beat Vettel. No way Vettel is any better over a race distance and able to get past Webber. Webber just needs to lift his quali performances, he is as quick but he has made a few mistakes in quali on that final hot lap, be it run too early, held up or baulked. Will be interesting if they really have the pace over Ferrari and McLaren. This being the second GP of the year i expect Webber will be on fire as he always has a shocking opening GP! I have faith in my boy Webz!
  3. Count forward 12 weeks from mid April, i am a free agent after that and will already be in India so only 7 hours from Germany ! I have the first two weeks of June off to go to Zolder (driving) and then have to go back to work in India after that. SO i am with you. GPs are going to suck this year unless Webber starts winning...then they are all ace. Get your ass to Europe adn we can share some Caterham, Exige and E46 CSL love at the ring, Spa and Zandfort. OH YEH!!!!!!! i love it when work changes and farks your plans for the year, but you roll with the blows and they turn out to be blessings!
  4. Well the thing should be under the stars tonight so now that its being viewed by the public I DEMAND more pics
  5. Geezuz. All these 9 second R32 street cars popping up. Are 9s the new 10s?
  6. Well there goes the art of driving a fast car down the strip. The car is so good it makes running a 9 all look too easy Impressive though
  7. So if this is Terry Ashwoods DR30, does anyone know what has happened to the DR30 of John Strongman? I understand he sold it to help fund the purcahse of the GIO GTR. It was not 100% original and had some late model bits on it that woudl have needed to be removed...but it was a tidy and running car. How different is the FJ compared to the RB20 in the power stakes?
  8. I spend part of Sunday looking into whether it can be imported here...and no. But i have found a workshop that will sell me a car and guaranteed to buy it back at about the same price less a bit of depreciation. They have plenty of Silvias so looking into that at the moment
  9. I just want a car. I looked at what 300k buys you here in Singapore on the weekend...the answer is not as much as it should! I just want something to punt around in, anything, please ... But an E30 M3 woudl be awesome
  10. Thats is waaaay cool! When i was at the Ring last year, of all the eye candy this was about my fav car there....very similar to your friends
  11. Oh cool. I would love to see the ANZ cars running. I did see some scary pics of Bonds old Caltex car, not sure how the restoration is going Any in car footage from the weekend ?
  12. GREAT to see more cars getting out there. Any news on the Sierras making a comeback this year?
  13. The easiest fix is make the drivers neck a 6 pack before qualifying, then before the race go to King street for a big night out, necking beers and banging dirty crumpet. Come the race it will be great to see the real men able to punt a car quickly with the load of a excessive night on the piss on their mind
  14. More pictures bitches !!!
  15. Middle aged guy, really chatty and an absolute legend of a guy, nothing too hard or too much trouble. So if you have met Bill you would remember him
  16. A friend has an Integra and Civiv that he rallies out of Newcaslte. (same model Civic) Jad to sit back and laugh the first time he ran the Civic, it was completely std except for stripped interior and safety gear...he ran it for giggles and testing purposes and was already several seconds quicker then his off its head customg VR6 powerd earlier model Golf with everything done to it...std it was quicker. That was at a section of bush that is ou the back of Newcastle where his car club runs rally stages.... So, they are a brilliant thing std and amazingly good with some basic mods
  17. They get fitted, and then i realise that driving to work i am not really using them and i have over 2k in brakes that i have not needed on the track since 2007 Yes, re the grog etc, but thats therapy for having to work in 3rd world countries where i dont even get to see my car...and you are right...its a matter of what you are willing to give up to have it ... if only i cold trade the flight allowance for car parts
  18. All this SHIT COSTS WAY TOO MUCH FARKING MONEY! I am not young enough or pretty enough to pedal my ass down the local street corner to rich dirty folk and i make legal patended drugs....not stuff in sheds. Looking at all this fluff even boat anchors are turning into 20k motors!
  19. Still have the bootlid, no wing and still has original holes to mount spoiler. Currently stored at panel beaters who can weld up the wholes, spray the boot lid, fit the boot lid etc if you are located in Melb.
  20. Cool, any vids of the lil Astra doing its thing....thats a fair wack of grunt at the wheels. Are they easy to get that sort of power from?
  21. The HKS cams may work better then the Apexi cams i had. But that is the catch, if the tuner has spent time on the dyno tuning the engine with std cams and cam gear settings. Then install the cams and go through all the same rigmorol trying to get them dialle din and working. In my case the car went backwards with very similar spec cams as to the HKS. I dont think there is any chance that the tuner isntalled the cams a tooth out etc etc. Whislt anything is possible, a lot of time was spent trying to get the power and response back and he is the builder / tuner of some of the quickest Skylines in the country (Racepace), so would be shocked if that was my problem. But, not to say the HKS cams are not a little piece of majoc...lol, i sold my HKS cams, maybe i shoudl see if they guy still has them
  22. The easiest way to work out what caliper they are is to grab some verniers and measure the piston diameters. That will tell you what they are. The part numebrs vary on a few different things. (The F40 and F50 is a generic description for them as there is any number of different piston size combinations) If these were off a BMW kit they could have slightly different pistons sizes to typical Nissan kits. (not that it matters a whole lot) ut looking at the piston orientation i am guessing they come off a Mazda, BMW or Supra etc as they are a trailing caliper where as the Nissan requriess a leading caliper setup. Its not difficult to swap over the bleed nipples and bridge though to correct that But yes they all take the same pads...and if you get desperate to sell them then PM me your price as i have a few sets of rotors and things laying around that i could use these to make a kit
  23. But they were in there with Mclaren, Jordan and Prost for almost a decade
  24. Thats why i am going back to the 10cm housing, Plazmaman plenum...will see if cams work for it then. Need to beat that R31 fella making more power then me Come on Trent, give me the specs of something you have seen work. I am torn between installing my solid lifters with some 260/10.25mm cams to go with the 10cm housing and 2.4L bottom end or just keep my money in my pocket and keep reving the crap out of the lil std motor and see how it goes. I am so hot and cold about all this Its safer to go with a known RB26 or RB30 setup, but....
  25. How can they have up so mcuh in the space of 3 years. Teh yen exchange rate is about the same, the tyres are old hat nothing new in the way of compounds. FARKING RIDICULOUS! LOL , i need to find some 16X9" rims
