  6. If only they had met Birds in person and that's clearly not how he is. But his high level of opinion on SAU can give off the wrong message at times...
  7. An IMPUL remapped ECU would = a Nistune... They both remapped the stock ECU's. Fuel / Ignition settings etc... Have been modified / tuned for better performance. But many factors car effect the ECU's tuning. ie. The IMPUL ECU could have been tuned to Japanese Fuel... Best is to remove it and get a Nistune done and tuned to our Fuel / Conditions etc... You can't have both IMPUL and Nistune, just one.

  12. Paint stripping the front mount intercooler looks awesome! I too did the same. Looking forward to see the result with the OEM Intercooler.

  14. From memory, it goes under / behind the airbox. So: Airbox > AFM > Intake Pipe > Turbo This! Considering your car will have more power then the N/A engine, there will be things that need replacing in order to handle the power upgrade. You'd want to look out for the clutch. A brake caliper upgrade to the GTS-T model would be a good start. At least a 3" turbo back exhaust will help with the exhaust flow. Did the RB20DET you bought come with the side mount intercooler and blow off valve? It's just a start to the "To Do List" for this conversion.

  16. Price VS Performance... Is what I am looking at... Comparing to the 335i. R34 GTR = $40,000 + $10K or $15K = Win! Yeah R35 is sweet. But yeah, up to you... Sure a 335i is a sweet car and different characteristics. You driven one yet?
