  1. No they are not. Wiring is least of your problems - wiring needs to be reversed but the drive on the end of the camshaft is different.
  2. Google - masses of info.
  3. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/fuel-systems/auction-627123349.htm $159 (NZ$)
  4. Still think you're complicating things unnecessarily. If there is nothing strange about your build you would expect 8.5:1 pistons to give you a CR of 8.5:1 and 9.0:1 would give you 9.0:1. In fact there may well be a small variance but I defy anyone to calculate it - you will have to measure it when the pistons are installed.
  5. I gave you the answer - get the 9:1 pistons. The rest is unnecessary detail!
  6. You have to pull the covers off the turret tops - or I suppose you could leave them off. Need a 10mm socket from memory
  7. Buy and fit a new fuel pump. If yours hasn't failed it could at any time. Work your way through Sarge RX8's list above. No point tuning it if there are things to be fixed first. What plugs did you put in and what gap?
  8. Read your way through the RB30 upgrade thread at the top - quite a few non forged blocks like mine. If you are going to use the stock pistons you won't have much control over the CR but you will definitely get more torque. I don't think its worth doing it twice for the experience - build a forged bottom end and you can put all your stock head etc on top and upgrade the turbo etc at a later date. But do heaps more reading first and get to know how your present set up works before attempting to modify.
  9. I think you will find that the RB30 will give you heaps of torque anyway. I have an RB25 head on my RB30 with a Greddy copy FFP which is probably not ideal but the car pulls like a train from 1000 rev/min in top gear. You can see my torque curve in the RB30 upgrade thread at the top of this page. Or not - seems to be a glitch with the website or its undergoing maintenance or maybe the problem is just with my computer/connection - no pics or charts. I'll try a photobucket link (strange - that seems to have appeared briefly and then disappeared??)
  10. Piston selection is going to make more difference than your choice of head gasket - why would you not be using the higher compression pistons?. Should have bought the pistons before choosing head gasket. Presumably you can return the head gasket if it is not suitable. What compression ratio do you want and what fuel will you be using?
  11. What is the purpose of your question? Crank collars are all the same about 43.7mm diameter or 40.7mm at the flats and all oil pumps for RBs are made to suit.
  12. There is lots of info in here (and R33 and S1 are the same, and different from R34 or S2 Neo engine.): http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/83819-fitting-a-new-lambda-sensor/ or just go to http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/ngk-ntk-lambda-oxygen-sensor-ntk-nissan-skyline-r32-gts-gts4-gtst-gts25-r33-gts25-gts4-gts25t-p-1023.html
  13. This is the Stagea section. Try posting in the general discussion section and display your location in your profile and see if there is someone handy who wants to come and have a look with you. 150km with turbos for which it has not been tuned is 150 too many. Don't know where you are but screamers are almost certainly illegal. Does it have any kind of aftermarket ecu that would allow it to be tuned?
  14. Here's a local supplier: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Nissan-Skyline-R33-ELECTROPLATED-Plenum-w-Original-Throttle-Body-Adapter-/171082227375?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27d54b9eaf
  15. Why do you want a larger throttle body? Stock one will be fine. My adapter was $20 or you could make one.
  16. Yep stock side feed rail (it will take a top feed rail if you want to change later) and side feed 550 injectors. BTW my tuner has told me to change to platinums so I have PFR7G now.
  17. Any tuner should be able to tune a SAFC and SITC. I had both plus a Jaycar boost controller which my local tuner hadn't seen before and he was able to tune for my GCG highflow.
  18. I bought mine from Luxury Sports http://www.trademe.co.nz/stores/luxury-sports/contact for $330 although they are out of stock atm and new price will be $380 It looks very similar to this one: http://scarles.co.nz/shop-online/cooling-products/intake-manifolds/intake-manifold-front-face-rb25
  19. I think OP has decided to get one and wants to know how much to spend. I have a cheap Chinese Greddy copy and it works fine - just needed an adapter so I could fit my stock Throttle body (no need to pay for an aftermarket 80mm item). If you buy a cheap one then before you fit it check the mounting face and pressure test it. Some have pinholes in the casting (chrome plating will generally take care of that but I'm too cheap for chrome plating).
  20. I have a Walbro 341 (as per the Kudos one). Didn't need to modify the cradle but wrapped some material around the pump and cable tied it as it was thinner than the stocker. Been running for about 5 years now (although just filling my surge tank for the last two years).
  21. Someone has to be the pioneer! I struggled with a guard roller to get my 9in rims covered and ended up getting better results with a piece of pipe between the tyre and guard (once I worked out what Yokatas quote about "baseball bat is your friend" meant).. In order to accommodate 10in rims I think you would have to follow Psymin's example and get the guards extended at a panel shop.
  22. Drags are Friday nights when I am working so looking for a club event or similar. keen to know what it will do!
  23. You're right - he's lost the rear seats but its still only 55kg lighter than my 1800kg C34 "With the passenger seat and belts, stereo, center console, guages and a few other little bits we added for the show and this meeting we are now up to 1745kg race weight, I'm sure a 5kg set of carpets won't hurt any." __________________
  24. RIPS stagea was a full weight wagon - electric windows, tailgate closer etc. Did have a 2 speed auto box though and drag tyres.
  25. Sorry but those undersized tyres look ridiculous. Wheels look good - just need to "adjust " the guards to cover the wheels. A set of the front rims would probably be easier to fit.
