  1. Sorry, but are you listening???? Don't do anything till you get your pressure tested. You need to find the fault before introducing more random parts and issues.
  2. This^^^^ or recut the original keyway with a larger unit - but this needs meat and from the pics I can't be sure. Plus you need to machine the HB to suit.
  3. Before you do this, just check your radiator top and bottom hoses are connected, and hose clamps are tight. Also check your hoses for leaks and splits. Also just check that its not your radiator leaking somewhere as well. Even removing the stone tray and seeing where the leak comes from? I agree that the likely culprit is the water pump, but a quick check of the simple things might be a smart move before 'firing from the hip'.
  4. I wouldn't waste any $$$ until I had the fuel pressure checked. Its a simple 5 minute job and any mechanic can do it. You need to diagnose the weak link..........no use spending $1,000 for a $5 fault.
  5. Always a bit wary of these products: 1. Why is your engine so gunked up it needs this stuff, better addressing the issue? 2. If its a new rebuild and its done right then you shouldn't need it anyway. 3. If its an older motor and you use it the chances are you will remove the carbon that the motor has come to rely - the results could be worse performance/reliability. 4. What end result do you hope to get out of doing it? is it worth it? 5. How often do you intend doing it? Every 5K, 10K etc? Maybe if you purchased a low mileage car driven by granma to bingo [where the oil never ever got warm], and it needed a fresh start in life, but otherwise I can't see the benefit.
  6. I prefer the chaos of the live version
  7. Have a look at the tutorial section...........there are several DIY's on this.
  8. Or take the plunge and ask the shop you are buying the pump from........a proper reputable shop/dealer will know the solution to your setup!!! hell there are even a few of them in the For sale section that have their own forum, ask ye and the truth shall be heard!!!
  9. Obviously yours doesn't work............otherwise you would be flapping [flapping, I said flapping] your mirrors!!!
  10. also had red door cards/inserts with the black gauze cover/veil. nice enough GTR though
  11. I use an Odyssey..........tried full river and braille but the odyssey gets the nod. Had to make up my own clamps and such like is all - I hate commercial plastic/flimsy battery holders anyway, they never last. Was thinking of going lithium ion next time, but the Odyssey is so good I may not bother.
  12. Exactly
  13. Nice exhaust note...........but IMO that's expected really. They are a cool car though.
  14. And you can use royal purple or motul or any fancy oil you want...........but it is unlikely that you or your car will notice any difference from a good quality oil from penrite/castrol/etc etc But its a personal choice.
