Whilst on paper the 0.63 might be ok if boost control doesn't prove to be a pain in the arse I would still use the 0.82 since it is already in possession and will flow whatever the compressor can throw at it efficiently. Although I would have a good long think about driving the car around with the GT-RS since it is just a street car. In 12-18mths time lose your mind and then you can burn thru some money again like a good skyline owner.

The difference in spool between a GT3076 and the GT3040 isn't much at all, about 100-200rpm different. I am guessing you have the 0.63 rear?? This is going to bring the turbo on reasonably early but will limit the top end power, 290rwkw might be tight with the small rear on pump. 0.82 rear and/or E85 you will get there easily.

You can buy adjustable arms with bushes you would only need a press if you swapping out the OEM bushes or am I missing something?

See, "don't bother with cam gears" There are no results on SAU that I am aware of where cam gears did anything positive on a neo RB25. By the time you install your "cheap" cam gear, try to dial it in on the dyno and end up back at zero you will be wishing you saved your money on the "cheap" cam gear.

Have you given us a list of modifications yet? I am guessing you have an aftermarket ecu if you are using a Z32 afm?!?! There is a DIY tutorial for fixing afm's which requires a soldering iron, a stanley knife and a small amount of common sense.

A 3067 shouldn't need a port shrouded comp cover.

If you get a monster rear muffler (per the pic I posted) then noise will not be an issue even as a straight through.

The good news is that Jez's dyno reads pretty much exactly the same as Unigroup dyno. So you can be confident there are no shenanigans with Jez tuning and he will be careful with SR20's due to the noise they make. There are no prizes for making them rattle.

Have just been through this on my R33. I was assured that most of the time it due to the cluster by a number of experienced import mechanics. I changed the cluster but unfortunately it made no difference. So whilst this is worth doing if you can get your hands on one cheap it was not the reason for my jumping speedo. The alternative is that the issue could be the speed sender on the gear box. In my case I bought a new speed sender and the issue is fixed. The small gear needs to be transplanted from the old sender and it might pay to use a new circlip which wasn't supplied. I bought my sender from the USA.
