  1. there's a couple on ebay.com.au ranging from $1100 to $1900. (Aus dollars) Delivery wouldn't be too bad. The box isn't that big. Good luck
  2. Isn't there one in the For Sale right now for $1550? Sydney even..
  3. Interested in upgrade on 360 too Firmware flash or chip? Also is it just the basic 'green' box unit with no hard etc? or full package
  4. Have you done the 10-15 min idle learning after it was installed? PaulR33 has a tech manual xplaining what to do
  5. Well if it doesn't, you will still have to change the setting on the Profec Spec II so what's the difference? I've got the FC Boost kit on the way simply to keep the cabin clutter free.
  6. Got it! Just had to squeeze and pull a little harder then...pop ! Off they came.
  7. Trying to upgrade my fuel pump and didn't get very far. (always happens DOH) Anyway, have a look at the pic. How do you unclip these things (the 2 on the right) I'm trying to push the coloured bits in and pull off but no go yet. Any ideas?
  8. My post did sound a little $ oriented didn't it. Wasn't meant to. I do agree with what you're saying Eugen, i just wanna know (1) how much they are (2) what's so good about em and why? as I've never been.
  9. I hear the above term used every now and then referring to turbos but I have NO idea what the hell it means. Please explain!!! Thanks...
  10. is that a short shifter? How much? (it's not listed)
  11. I've had a Hitman tune and found it to be great for all the reasons alredy stated in this thread ($500) I wish everyone would post prices but anyway.... Can someone tell me what makes CRD so much better than everyone else? and what is their price? I reckon for doind a skyline with standard turbo and a few mods to hit around 200rwkws, i think, for a tuner, it would be a piece of piss and woudln't need all day...but thats just my opinion
  12. The solenoid acts like a bleed valve boost controller. Bleeding off some air to fool the wastegate actuator to raise the boost. A turbosmart bleed valve lets the air go staright out into the engine bay but the bled off air from the standard solenoid gets fed back into the intake pipe just after the AFM. Probably for meeting Jap/Aus emmission standards and all that crap. Just follow it down and you will see.
  13. Should be pretty basic if you have the original parts. Put the T-piece back in where the other solenoid was if electronic controller. Or if just the wastegate actuator holding boost, cut the rubber line between the intake nipple and wastgate actuator and put the T-pice in there. The end of the T-piece needs to feed a line into the bottom nipple of the original solenoid. The top of the solenoid should then feedback to a nipple just after the afm i think. That's it! Might have the top and bottom nipples mixed up though (I think I've used the word 'nipple' too many times )
  14. Nah, it was 'fatz' but i think i was confused caused he used to have a pic with the VB on top of his car. He had the turbo on the RB26 and found it laggy. If you only want up to 250rwkws, get a HKS2535 or a highflow
  15. A few have done it Someone did a write up a year or 2 ago. Do a search and you should find something. Maybe beerBaron???? prolly wrong..
  16. Great info Thanks mate. I'll give it a go and see what happens.
  17. Hey Tek 01, Did you find that the GTR pump sat in the cradle OK with no mods? I'm about to do what you've done. How are you finding it so far...all good? Got used to the noise? Thank...
  18. Sorry to dig up a 3yr old thread (not sorry really ) I have an R33 GTR fuel pump a want to install shortly into my R33 GTSt Can anyone else vouch for what Chook said that it is a 'direct replacement' ? No need for brackets and the like? Would like to hear from people who actually have this setup. ..and if that's the case, i have spare brackets if anyone needs em.
  19. Since it's already been brought up, I've upgraded to a HKS 2535 but only on 10psi (for now) I used to have the standard turno on 12psi and never had the flutter, just the load Pssshhhh, Now with this turbo i get the flutter???? It's on the standard BOV. Only happens on full load between changes Is the BOV reaching it's capacity? I don't mind the noise but if it's gunna cause any damage, i'd like it sorted sooner than later. Thanks guys.,.
  20. You migth need to check if there is an extended seperater between the 2 entry holes which some of the aftermarket pipes have. I don't know for sure but i might have read somewhere that the HKS turbo can't fit with that extra bit. Try and get a photo where the entry point of the pipe is. If using standard turbo i think it's no problem at all.
  21. Got a pic of the EVC with it's control unit?
  22. Hey guys, Just in Tassie for this week and would love to get out on the water on a yacht. If anyone needs some crew (not real experienced), give me a yell, or any contacts would be cool. THanks..Birnie
  23. Sure mate, he sounded keen but sometimes things fall thru. I'll be catching up with him on Saturday/Sunday to organise the sale. If it doesn't happen, I'll let you know.
