S13 Sprint/Time Attack Style Build

I remember Jooga from when I was down there and he was drifting. Yeah keeping power conservative will be key to longevity. MA = Motorsport Australia (previously CAMS) -

Quality rotors, pads and fluid will be all you need. Yeah that track being built is way off.......... -

I've run the 324mm rotor on s14 and worked well but the standard s14 will be 100x better than r31 stuff even s13 turbo brakes are bigger. This is a street car yeah? No need for the big rotor upgrade -

Got the car done mechanically and on to the dyno today for run in. A few small oil leaks but that was only issues. Happy with result, took it for a quick test drive around the block and its comes on hard. Got a long list of stuff to do between now and next Sunday before heading down south. Got to be at MCA on the 16th for new Red Series coilovers & cornerweight/alignment then off to Morgan Park for a test day on the 18th. Biggest jobs will be new ducting from front bar and pulling motor to fix the leaks. Will make a start on it all tomorrow with a few small things. -

Have a look at Kmak Aero https://www.kmakaero.com.au/shop-kmak-aero-products/s13-silvia-aero/ I run their stuff and its good fitment and pricing, made to order on the Gold Coast. My mate with all origin gear was not happy with his expensive Japanese stuff made in Malaysia. WTAC is silly expensive rather do club level stuff too, Thundersports/sports sedan would be fun but LS seems to be needed to be competitive. I'm building that gets to get experience in the door to door stuff as want that experience. Are there many hill climbs in Victoria as they generally have no restriction and MA stuff is engine capacity based. Be interested to see how the it goes on the slicks and whats needed to make them work. -

I use r33 front lca's (+10mm) and they will give heaps of camber and clearance. Did you go kelway tubs? Look at the Instagram stuff he posted of install. Once you tub it you lose a lot of space, I'll post some detailed pics of my engine bay and its tight as didn't want to drill or cut tubs up. What do your class rules allow for widebody? can you do full overs or just a flare? -

That drive will be good to see economy. Need videos of scientific testing, I'm sure it will be conducted in a controlled environment with safety equipment........ Hopefully get that 11, take an esky with a few bags of ice to help cool it in the lanes. -

It use to take me all of 2mins to search for a previous run, add business logo and print then a few minutes to laminate. It's laziness, it's easier to send as an email. Would have thought a place like that would make sure all their admin is sorted. -
Nice work, are you doing targa this year or next?

Been slowly chipping away finished catch can and plumbed it. Made new support bracket for radiator and intercooler, will need to mod one intercooler pipe and intake pipe. Made a shroud for new Maradyne fan and mounted oil cooler on it too . it has a divider to separate airflow. Sorted fuel system this afternoon with new lines, filter, pressure sensor and mounted ethanol sensor. Fitted a new fuel pump with wiring bulkheads. Going to start with tidying up and reinstall the body and engine looms. Need to wire a few new sensors . Planning to test cooling system for leaks as well. -
pretty sure nissan sell them, contact a nissan spare parts dealer or Kudos Motorsport

I a have set I've been meaning to install. Having driven plenty of s13 and s14/15 there is a big difference in how they drive under acceleration on track. Imagine material is up to it as similar to factory sub frame mounts. @GTSBoy seem to be in stock here https://au.gktech.com/s13-180sx-r32-subframe-anti-squat-reduction-weld-in-kit -
Welcome Paddy. The R34 is very tidy, lots of helpful people here so should be able to help with the problem

Try a window tinter for tear offs, a local place here in Townsville has done them in the past. A quick google search will help https://www.facebook.com/RaceScreen-Tear-Offs-169184126960839/ https://www.alfab.com.au/3d-shaped-polycarbonate-race-boat/
