  1. Subway was a good thing 10-15 years ago.Increasingly restrictive franchise rules and incredibly expensive equipment ($3000 each for the toaster ovens? $9000 for a proofer? ) Rules on how long you can keep stock even when it's non perishable. Startup cost of a Subway now is enormous. Most of the early franchisees don't run them anymore; made their money & moved on. Do you have any idea what it cost to rent shopfront space in either of those locations? You'd BETTER be making some coin, you're gonna need it to pay the rent. Generally, if you can see the opportunity starting to boom; you're too late to get on the wave.
  2. MASA I think, That'll look hot once it's finished!
  3. All good, kicking back with a Squires at the moment mate .
  4. It's worth a look but normally there's some annoying reason why what works on a c34 simply won't work on an M35...
  5. Andy, Those photos seem to show the caliper for the 280mm rotors (little ridges on the calipers) which have a different leg length to the r32 GTR and r33 GTSt caliper. If they fit, they're certainly cheaper though. I'm pretty sure Tangles bought the conceptz kit http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=882&Car_Type=300&UID=20110116014625121.216.12.194 (that's how I came across them) might have to shoot him a pm to confirm what calipers he's using. Cheers, Dale.
  6. Helped out Rosella with his today, what a nice kit, everything fitted up beautifully.
  7. Spotted Rosella's Stagea in my garage with the front all pulled apart. Now it has a shiny new intercooler! Wish mine did...
  8. GSL Rallysport are a trader on SAU, check out their website, or send them a PM.
  9. Yep, but I'll be drilling out the M12 hub bolt holes & retapping for the M14 bolts from the original M35 calipers. Alternatively, you could just use the bolts that come with the kit and use a sleeve inside the hub bores to take up the gap. Not too keen to do that with the additional bracket though.
  10. Yeah, I had an R32 GTR setup on my r31, and that kicked arse, so I just wanted the bigger rotors to counteract the additional weight.
  11. Too right, you see so many VE's with 18's and completely munted rubber. * Story below may or may not be based on actual events* Daddy has a mid life crisis, trades the Camry, goes and gets an SS (or if he's on the leash an SV6 ) burns around for 6 months and suddenly discovers RE050 Bridgies are $450 a pop and craps himself, 'cos he know his angry, overstuffed missus is going to castrate him, so he just keeps his mouth shut & hopes she doesn't notice... That and blown headlight globes: how do you not notice that you can't see where you're going?
  12. I wonder if it uses a pressure switch and an accumulator to maintain pressure in the system? I'm pretty sure this is how the r33GTR does it, and when the accumulator dies, the pump switches on and off constantly to maintain system pressure. If you draw the dirty fluid out of the reservoir, replace with clean, then start the engine, the pump should start to charge the system with pressure. If you open the bleed valve, the system may start to lose pressure and the pressure switch should activate the pump. If this happens, you might be able to crack the bleed nipple with a length of hose to drain and slowly bleed the system until you are getting clean fluid, while someone is watching the reservoir level, and topping as required.
  13. Behind the RHS cubbyhole in the load area there is a reservoir for the ATESSA system. You have to remove the cover, and grab the lip of the plastic insert and pull (fairly forcefully) and it will pop out revealing the reservoir inside the rear quarter panel. The first time I pulled mine out, I thought I was going to break it, then it just popped free.
  14. Nice one STG25T, looks great in red. Wheels really set it off.
  15. No mate, sadly my finances don't run to Brembo's unfortunately, but I think the R33GTSt calipers teamed with this; http://www.conceptzp...40203.166.28.81 I should have more than enough brake power.
  16. Recieved a box today containing my R33 calipers! Got all the lines, shims and clips, and as a bonus what appear to be a virtually brand new set of brake pads Now for some offset brackets & bigger rotors...
  17. Scotch locks FTW! Not!
  18. I agree Jules, I spoke at length with Wayne today and he is on the same page as us. It was an unfortunate series of events that led to our disagreement, and I'm just as keen as everyone else to see quality parts for our cars becoming available. If it can be done by a local busines; so much the better for everyone. Regarding you roof racks, are you talking about the ones that bolt the rack directly to the bracket on the car? If so, i'm sure they're just an M5x 0.75 thread. This is the standard thread pitch and should be easily available. If you can't find them, PM me your address, and I'll post you some 316 Stainless cap heads. Cheers, Dale.
  19. Also on thin gauge wire, if too much heat is used, soldering can remove the annealing (which makes the wire malleable) from the copper and make the strands more susceptible to fatigue breakage.
  20. No mate, I didn't, and I'm back at work now... They have someone organised for the Sway Bars (is it you Paramour?); apparently they have some pretty trick gear basically for on car sway bar measurement and data logging . I might know who's helping out with some upgraded ball links for the sway bars as this is a known weak area. This is just the first step in getting some pretty cool suspension & alignment products. Cheers, Dale.
  21. No, not buying him out, he actually does all their custom work. He's trying to move our vehicle away from being predominantly custom parts, and getting us more support. Interesting times ahead.
  22. Sooo, I've just had a VERY interesting chat with Wayne from Whiteline. All is not as it seems. Wayne is a relatively new addition to their team, and has taken it upon himself to improve the aftermarket support we have for the NM35. Inadvertently stepped on my toes, but is keen to get involved. It seems we may have some very interesting becoming available for the wagon, and quite an ally as it turns out. I know I started it, but no more Wayne bashing ok? Watch this space...
  23. In the interest of fair play, I'll address this publicly for everyone to see. Hi Dale, We would like to discuss this with you as if a distributor has spoken to you like that or not helped you with you enquiry we are concerned and would like to take that matter up with them. I won't post the name of the business publicly, as I have great respect for the business owner, and all my other dealings with them have been exemplary. For all I know the employee was having a bad day. Frankly, I don't care; which is why I disregarded his "advice" and went straight to the source. The second brush off is the heart of my criticism. Could you also let us know what email address you sent your enquiry to as all our emails are archived so we can see when you emailed and we are usually so prompt with our replies we would like to work out why you have not been replied. I commenced my search for Sway Bars midway through last year, and I routinely clear my "Sent Items" so as you might appreciate, six months later, I can't supply the email address unfortunately. I simply went to your website and clicked "Contact Us" and went from there. You are also right in saying we do not do custom one off bars we recommend all work like that to the same place you are trying to get them made and have a great relationship with them. I agree; Signature ARE excellent, Todd has been extremely helpful. The idea is to make this a product line not a custom bar as from what we can see here is that the cars are popular and we can stock them for people that are not in the group buy or just want one out of the blue at a further stage and not have to wait many weeks for. I welcome freely available upgraded parts for this car, which is why as an existing Whiteline customer I went to the trouble of going direct once I'd been insulted at a retail outlet. Please phone us to discuss this and who you maybe able to approach to supply you what your looking for on our toll free 1300 882 355 ask for Wayne Bolton. Thank you, but I've already done ALL the legwork, and found Todd from Signature on my own, and have organised a Group Buy to benefit the guys in this forum We are only trying to help guys as it does not look like it has been easy for you all to obtain the sway bars you are asking for. You're right, it wasn't easy. We are not here to make a buck we make plenty over the world on all our products this was just to help and hope that people would think we are a company that provides on demand parts that are not available in large volume. Not here to make a buck? Let's be honest now. This is not advertising we have many outlets for that and we do not sell direct or on here but many of out traders may so we thought we may help come up with an easy way to obtain bars that looked hard to get and a long wait each time. Really? You use a business name as your sig, you quote Whiteline part numbers, you direct people to Whiteline email addresses, you coincidentally post in a thread which is about a product you supply, FFS, you've even provided details for Facebook prizes! I could go on, and if you can tell me how even one of the examples I've referred to ISN'T advertising; I'm all ears. I'm sure the moderators would see my point too. I'm not "Anti Whiteline" by any means, but you must appreciate, there's certainly other ways you could've got the word out. Regards, Dale.
  24. Guys, I spoke to Todd this morning, he's completed all the front bars, and is going to be finishing the rears most likely today! Then it's off to the powdercoaters (no paltry spraypaint for us) early next week, and hopefully ready to go late next week! He apologised for the delay, and also let me know someone else contacted him to get in on the action; glad you made it!. I'll be in touch personally with everyone with this heads up, not long now! Cheers, Dale.
