  1. It sounds to me like they might be trying to dodge the repair, to save themselves some cash. Stay on them, anything within that 3 month period must be fixed at the DEALERS expense. Hopefully they'll come through for you, sometimes they try it on; to see if you know the rules. Shouldn't happen, but it's human nature to take the easy out for some... Also remember most extended warranties will only cover to a certain dollar value on most repairs, so you may be hit with a bill at the end. Read the policy carefully before claiming, sometimes, you can be better off to have the repairs done yourself, by your own mechanic rather than pay full freight, plus "warranty policy" mark up on parts... It can also be very hard to prove a repair is warranted on "intermitttent" faults. They may claim it never played up while they have it, but you'll have it fail as soon as you get it back.
  2. Glad you got a result The price from Nissan is simply out of order, as one of the NM35 boys found out. Either Import Monster, or the reco route you've taken are the only sensible options. At least you have warranty with your reco.
  3. Yep, Wholesale Suspension in Penrith (0247212187). Steve is the man you're after.
  4. They're brilliant! You'll love em!
  5. Shouldn't need the wiring kit, you're only replacing the original fan.
  6. Just a quick update, Thanks to the guys who have deposited funds so quickly , great work! And of course, if anyone else is interested; you know what to do!
  7. Which finger? Lol!
  8. Once you have worked out the ballpark area you wish to drill, cover the area with a strip of duct tape, then mark for drilling. You'll find this helps with keeping the drill on centre, and if you do slip, you're unlikely to scratch your paint. Remember, measure twice; drill once!
  9. I think I still have mine, removed because I couldn't be bothered with the stupid FM converter . Let me look & I'll get back to you. Pay postage & it's yours
  10. Unless you've had the english conversion done, the readout is actually in Km/L, not Litres per Hundred Kays, so yours is probably about right.
  11. Yeah, I've got the single DIN gauge set; Torque Split, Volts and Boost.

  14. Specialised Brake & Clutch in Penrith are excellent, they deal with performance cars & brake upgrades every day. They are straight shooters, I have never had anything but excellent service from them. Don't have their number on me, but yellow pages will Good luck.
  15. How 's that? It's probably been superseded by now though. I bought mine from the US, everything works fine over here. Pioneer DEH-P 7000BT Edit; still available in the US for around $200.
  16. Surely you know how this works by now Craig?
  17. Or alternatively, due to the absence of PM's at the moment, feel free to email me on; [email protected] Cheers, Dale
  18. I'm running a single din pioneer with ipod control & bluetooth, also has a cd slot. Classy looking fascia, without looking like the starship enterprise. Does everything, I need, can stream mp3's from phone, and answer calls and sounds great!
  19. Looks like I'll just have to be patient, I will get back to everyone personally.
  20. And the giant killing VL Bomadore...
  21. Ok, update; I have final prices for Sway Bars from Todd! We have; Front; 30mm solid, blade adjustable. Group Buy price; $300. Retail; $345 Rear; 24mm solid, blade adjustable. Group Buy price; $280. Retail; $315 Obviously this price will include, all necessary mounting hardware, but postage (if required) will be extra. Lead time; approx 3 weeks, from payment to delivery. I realise these prices are more than initially estimated, but they represent a significant saving (over $100 per bar) over the alternative, (and in my opinion inferior) product for our vehicle. I will be going ahead regardless, but I understand if people are not prepared to spend slightly more than planned. I cannot work out how to PM in the new forum format so bear with me & I'll do my best to get in contact with all the individuals who registered their interest initially. Once I've been able to contact everyone, I'll be posting in the Group Buy section, as per the forum regulations.
  22. Approximately 17mm further out. Not exactly Mexican, but definitely better. They suit the car quite well, I reckon.
  23. 8 deg is a worthwhile difference, might have to do a bit of research once I have my "christmas" informeter. The weather will be conducive to a definitive result by then.
  24. What was the difference in average running temp once you went to the Nismo, Cam?
  25. Nice work mate, putting in the hard yards! You must be stoked to be back on the road, gotta be some good luck coming your way now!
