1. Awesome stuff! Congrats!
2. It's actually, quite funny hearing about vehicle manufacturers refusing to provide cars for ADR crash testing (BMW, Audi, Mercedes) because European standards far exceed our own. I think they just like being unnecessarily officious. That, and they like smashing up other peoples shit... You will sadly never see a road registered Veyron in Australia because ADR's required TWO vehicles for the authority to completely destroy! At $1.5 mill a POP, they were politely invited to go f##k themselves...
3. Also the lower lighting angle, in relation to viewing angle helps with fog lights.
4. Stop yelling at everyone & it'll all be fine Chuckie. Might even be time to take some of your own advice. Cheers, Dale.
5. Looks good, always admire anyone prepared to go past the point of no return How will you go for wheel clearance to the rear of the strut tower? Or is it not an issue?
6. Wth regard to the lack of gasket, I put 2 waterpumps on my RB over the 300,000km I owned it. It didn't have a gasket when I removed the first one, and I never used one either. Just used a non setting sealant. Never had any leaks or other issues.
7. Yep, as Iain said, outside the vehicle. Inside the vehicle, you must be thinking of a strut brace, but not applicable on the NM35 as there are no strut towers to bolt it to.
8. I was lucky that bbenny, was generous enough to lend me his original sway bars, these are what I've given Todd as samples to make our bars from. There'll be a few sets of standard bars available after these are delivered, so you can probably borrow a set (mine if you like). So not impossible, but obviously the price will be around $40 per bar more expensive. Todd's a great guy, and I'm sure he'd be happy to make them It's what he does after all. Sorry the timing didn't end up working out for you mate. If there is ongoing interest, I MAY look at doing another Group Buy or if someone else wants to take the reins; go for it.
9. I have the same Legalis exhaust, with a dump pipe, 3" front pipe & high flow cat on my car, & I too had the drone issue. I swear hand on heart, my exhaust has become quieter over the last 2 months. I'm sure it's not a case of getting used to it; even my missus asked if I'd done something to make it quieter! Give it time, maybe you'll have the same result.
10. This is mechanic speak for "I'm a stupid donkey who spent my entire apprenticeship smoking cones in the toilet, instead of learning my trade. Now due to my complete lack of functioning braincells, and the fact that the only tool I ever used at work was a mop, and I was quite intimidated by it; I now have no ability to troubleshoot anything more than the mophead falling off the handle." Run far far away from this workshop, and find a mechanic who is actually prepared to engage his brain, and at least ATTEMPT to diagnose the problem. Either that, or purchase a blue & white striped apron for him, so everyone can identify him as the butcher he patently is...
11. Ok, update. Group buy is now closed, we ended up with 8 participants, which considering the timeframe; is a great result. Today I paid the deposit, and Todd has estimated they'll be ready for shipping by ther middle of January. He gave me a choice of colours; and I've elected to go with stealth Black . I know some people like them bright colours, so they can see what they spent their money on, but there's method to my madness . Todd has kindly offered to have them Powdercoated, whereas if we'd chosen colour, it would've only been paint. Powdercoat is a much tougher finish which will stand the test of time, and just adds a touch of professionalism to the product. Once again, many thanks to everyone for their trust , and I'll be in touch with you all personally to let you know how things are progressing. Regards, Dale.

13. The other thing, maybe a freer flowing (doesn't have to be loud) exhaust & cat(s)and a high flow air filter might improve the situation a little. Every mod I've done to mine, whilst improving power when you're up it, has resulted in a reduction in fuel consumption, when you're taking it easy. I know turbo's are different, but there must be some potential for improvement, and teamed with a remap it could end up paying for itself in fuel saving. All depends how far down the rabbit hole you want to go.
14. Had a bit of a google; http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/148-australia/68022-remap-rpm-factory-ecu.html Direct Quote from that forum; I believe the guys at SAS in Silverwater may be able to help.

They can reflash stock ECU's, give em a call.

www.dynotuning.com.au/ Might be easier than you think...
15. I'd be looking at 350z remaps in your case. How different can it be? (famous last words)
16. Spotted a Silver NM35 AXIS on Lapstone hill 6:30 this morning. Looked nice!
17. +1, You'll spend a LOT on a car before you get anywhere near one (although I realise this isn't a price vs. performance argument). The violence of a 1000cc bike is something that few people appreciate until they experience it. As is the case with big power cars. My K6 GSXR 1000 still shocks me sometimes, even after 4years, and most pillions lose the ability to process the experience until about 5 minutes later, at which point most can only say "I cannot believe how fast that is"
18. *Black Stagea now becomes invisible* nice one Aaron.
19. No he didn't, (I never asked him to work it out, to be honest) We're going from an 18mm hollow rear to 24mm solid, so I'd imagine it's more in the order of a 150% increase. Which sounds like a lot, but by all accounts, the rear bar is WAAAY undersized; given how high up the wagon carries its mass when compared with a sedan. The increase in stiffness is in line with the upgraded bars people fit to C34's, so I think we're right on the money. These are a direct copy of the original "Sydnekid" Sway Bars, so we're not re-inventing the wheel, and the feedback from everyone who has these, is that they are excellent. Happily, we've exceeded the minimum required for the group buy discount, so it's been worth all the effort to get it together, everyone benefits! Thanks again everyone Cheers, Dale.
20. Last Days everyone! Thanks again, to everyone who has paid for their bars If you're still interested, I will be placing the order on Monday 20th December, so you must hurry! Cheers, Dale
21. I prefer to run the dampers soft, to soak up the bumps (of which there are plenty) rather than use them to limit body roll. And I'm lucky that I have an LSD in mine (about the only extra it came with), It tends toward understeer on the limit; that's why I'm doing the swaybars, I should be able to tune it out, have it cornering flat and still have a fairly cushy ride.
22. Bloody tough crowd here. With the roads in my area, I'd have snapped my car in half by now with those damper settings
23. Faark, mine are 3 clicks in from full soft.
24. I cant see why you would suffer any ill effects, it's only a spacer between the two locking collars. As log as you nip the collars back up once you're done it should be fine. Also try to ensure the springs remain captive at full droop, doesn't need to be much; just as long as the spring can't rattle around loose.
