  1. I have an Auto Watch immobiliser (N4086, on the key fob) on my M35 too. There is way around the immobiliser, an annoying convoluted process of switching the ignition on & off a certain number of times. As far as i know the sequence is different for each unit. Perhaps if you contact them they could tell you what the sequence is, or send a new remote express post or courier? Good luck, Dale
  2. I'm assuming you mean the black rails down the sides of the roof? If so; all m35's have these. There are two small caps in each rail, these pop out and reveal a plate with two captive nuts. The end of the roof racks pick up these bolt holes to attach. The O.E. racks have a flat plate that you bolt through, but Thule's or Rhino's normally use an extruded side rail to mount. A section of this extrusion, bolted to the rail mount, will now accept the roof rack of your choice.
  3. Further to last post, if you were to stop the rotating front wheel from turning (DO NOT do this whilst the hub is turning; broken fingers are not nice!) you would likely find the stationary front wheel would now be the path of least resistance and would now be turning. the reason both rear wheels are turning is likely because you have an lsd in the rear diff and the internal friction of this will force both rear wheels to rotate. Someone else is likely to be able to explain this in much simpler terms, but that's it; in a nutshell...
  4. I'll preface my comment with the disclaimer "I could be wrong, but" generally with open centre diffs (which the front one should be) it is common for only one wheel to spin, when driven unloaded, I.e.;off the ground. If there is a slight difference in resistance across the axle, for example a dragging caliper, tight wheel bearing; the torque will take the path of least resistance; the wheel with the least drag/resistance. This is exactly what a differential is supposed to do. If both wheels had EXACTLY the same amount oF grip (resistance), both wheels would spin. This is also why a open centre diff will spin one wheel; this wheel has less grip than the other.
  5. Well, that was sort of my point, there's no such thing as a stupid question. Stupid people don't ask questions, just forge on regardless. That's how you end up with a southern cross sticker and an 'Australia; Love it or Leave it' sticker on the back of your (Japanese made) Hilux, clueless to the irony...
  6. Just remember; 'There's no such thing as stupid questions, only stupid people' Mr Garrison; South Park.
  7. That actually looks quite good!
  8. I'm keen for another meet, hopefully a bit more done on the car. Once the date is set, I'll make it work. Cheers, Dale.
  9. Even if you can get them from Supercheap, why not look on Ebay, GSL Rallysport have Qfm pads for good prices (less than $200 delivered), or even deal with them thru the forum.
  10. Group buy dump pipe, high flow cat & 3 inch exhaust through to first muffler being fitted today. Going to see what benefit I get out of this before finishing the rest.
  11. +1, could see it being a problem down the track, mind you, I like the idea of the sub in the spare wheel...
  12. Ha Ha Jetwreck, that's a brilliant find! Always wanted to know what my car would look like covered in wood, NOT... What would possess you? And how do they expect to sell? All it needs now is a set of 14' x 10' US Racers. Mmm, dish...
  13. Also some of those"Carbon Fibre" trim pieces are only a carbon effect film, not the real deal. Why you'd bother with that film has always baffled me...
  14. helping this thing along; just added 4 more. Turns out my missus and even my 2 year old son want a workshop manual, bless 'em! My cat now has his own email address, hopefully he won't hog the laptop, playing with the mouse...

  16. Enkei is pretty common for Nissan and a few OEM alloys.
  17. Niiice! They seemto suit the Stags so well. BTW, if you don't mind me asking, whats the going rate for a set of R34 GTR wheels these days?
  18. I was up around there over the weekend. If it had ARX wheels it was me.
  19. Why'd you go and do that? Wasn't the bucket doin' it for you anymore? Lol
  20. Definitely go black! I had white rims on a GSXR 750 years ago; what a pain in the arse to keep clean.
  21. I can see Garet's point,it's tragic to lose loved ones to the stupidity of others, but it's also easy to let raw emotions cloud your opinion in a different context. On our roads, surrounded by our largely ill equipped drivers, this would've been a silly move. However, on an autobahn, in a Porsche surrounded by well trained aware drivers; this would have to be the safest place. Everything in life carries risk, even walking down the street. A life well lived balances risk with maturity.
  22. Awww, does that mean no more pearls of wisdom? What a shame... Not.
  23. I'm using RDA's in mine at the moment, nice cold bite, good fade resistance, but quite dusty. Even paying retail they're only $35 a set. Not unhappy, but next time I'll be going QFM; everyone raves about the A1RM's
  24. Pics please? I have BC coilovers in my NM35, height preload and damper adjustable for around $1200 -$1300. Will run from stock height to snow plow. But there are quite a few other options. Good luck!
  25. www.strutregas.com.au They re-gas existing struts, or will match up new struts and pressurise to suit for any application. Cheers, Dale
