  1. Hey Spoolin'! I tried, honestly I tried. Having a few issues uploading photos lately, but on page 33 of the "What have you done to your Stagea today" thread, I posted a few pics. I've dropped it a bit since then, and it looks a bit nicer, rims tucked in juust enough. Tangles, I have the BR's in mine, they're just fantastic, they should be paying me for advertising by now... At their softest they are as compliant or better as standard, at their hardest I would imagine it would be like driving a brick! Every click of adjustment (there are 30 steps) delivers a noticeable difference. Do it, you won't regret it.
  2. Sorry dude, I just couldn't resist!
  3. Well, on my C34...
  4. Nice one, you won't be disappointed. Aside from re-using the top shock mount on the rears, you might need a couple of washers/spacers on the lower shock mounts on the rear (they were too wide for my liking without crushing the mount excessively). Spring heights should be fine if they are updated, or made after Aug 09. Getting the height you want is the most time consuming part. BTW, the wheels came up great! Cheers, Dale
  5. The oil's job is to suspend all of the contaminants in your engine, this is why oil goes black. If it doesn't go black it isn't working.
  6. I'm in, weekends are heaps easier for me now, let's do it!
  7. My bad, it's not easy being green(ieo) you know...
  8. Greenio here, bloody hilarious, thinking of changing my name by deed poll! RS & RX suspension is the same. Greenio out.
  9. I would be leaning towards this being an RX, given the lack of Hicas. Don't think it would be likely you'd pull off the flares, fill the holes left behind, then respray. My RS was about that high before the coilovers. And at least as spongy as you're saying.
  10. Spotted silver NM35 outside Springwood Thai Kitchen, about 8:00pm
  11. Handbag and matching heels? (Jokes, jokes) Hurry up, I wanna see what it runs. After seeing our times and terminal speeds, I'm even more in awe of what scotty has achieved.
  12. My mate Rusty, (he's the guy that was doing commentary tonight) reckons it hasn't been that busy for years!
  13. Bazillions of cars out at Eastern Creek tonight, only got two runs in sadly. Wanted to get into the 14s; result! First was 14.91 @ 93.66 mph (150.73 km/h) Second 15.16 @ 93.35 mph (150.23 km/h) Happy with the first, stalled up well, felt like it got off the line nicely, second was against a Pro tree, and I didn't get it stalled up properly, and it left the line like a stately English Manor... The 14.91 I feel is pretty indicative of a basically stock car, I only have a K&N filter and the Group buy dump. That's it Well done Andy & Rudi, great times guys, won't spoil it for you.
  14. Andy & Rudi's m35's at Eastern Creek, where were the rest of you ? Pikers... Well done on the excellent times fellas, all of us in the 14s well pleased.
  15. The last thing I would do is tell your insurer, they will likely cancel your cover immediately. There is a clause in all car policies regarding "unrepaired damage" and something like what you are describing would definitely qualify. Insurance companies are not your friend; they are a business that likes making the largest amount of money with the least amount of effort. Do not give them an opportunity to cancel your policy for having an "unroadworthy vehicle".You wouldn't ring the RTA if your car started blowing heaps of smoke, you'd get it fixed. Take your car to a good panel shop, get a quote, get it fixed. No crack in the floor of your car is a good one, unless you're a dealer.
  16. I have a spare if you have a small head, Andy
  17. Just jap are the supplier, about $1299
  18. +1 for BC's I have BC's as well, on their softest setting they're almost like stock. If you're Sydney based, you are welcome to check them out. Check the Stagea Classifieds, Bbenny has a set of Tanabes for sale, I think. Cheers, Dale.
  19. Going straight from work, might be there a bit earlier, I'll keep an eye out for ""Big Girls"
  20. I enquired about that bar a while ago, they were after $180 from memory. Spoke to my panel beater about getting it repaired, he wasn't keen given the prominent area of the repair (front & centre), very hard to get flat & smooth, and very obvious if it's not. Makes more work for the panel beater, can end up costing much the same as a brand new part in prep to get the right result, and even then, it may not be perfect. But it's up to you. I would be expecting to pay around the $1000 mark for the aero front bar, otherwise start looking second hand on Import Monster or try Jesse Streeter, he reckoned he could get most parts, when I contacted him.
  21. After fitting the new V35 rims, due to the extra +10mm offset, my car was looking a bit 4wd. Been contemplating going a bit lower for a while now, but as the car is driven by my missus, and does fairly regular duty, I like that it does carparks fairly easily, and I don't have to think too much when doing driveways etc. End result, as I have adjustable coilovers, dropped ride height by 8mm all round, not very exciting I know. The difference is astonishing! Has tucked the tyres up, juuust enough to get rid of the 4wdness, but hardly makes any difference on road. Pics later.
  22. + 1 Prestige frontcuts have a pair of black guards listed on ebay presently for $380. They could possibly source the other parts.
  23. (3) I bought my NM35 from Nagoya Motors, they were fine, but Northshore Prestige seem to be head and shoulders above everyone regarding quality and knowledge. Time again, I would've paid a little extra & bought through them. Cheers, Dale.
  24. Hi Chris, If the steering wheel is in good condition, could you give me a rough idea of price? Mine has had a bit of Japanese tough love. Don't require the airbag. Cheers, Dale
  25. After Monday, I'll know if I can come, looks good so far !
