  1. He is asking if the combination of FNT and this new rear turbine flow design would FURTHER increase the performance or is it calculated to have no major effect? Also Stao, how much is a low PSI actuator for the turbo you sold me? I want to put the turbo on the car asap because Ive still got to wear in my clutch but I can't do this now because the actuator Ive got is 17psi rated and my engine will pop. I can put this lower PSI actuator on until I get to the tuner and we can fit the higher pressure actuator on. PM me in our big message thread!
  2. You do run the risk of them slipping but really you can adjust them and then lock them your self. They are made of the same metal but I wouldn't rely on their bolts and the threading. If you're gonna buy a set, buy them, adjust them then have them modded to take two or 4 pins and have them tacked. Need to adjust it later, drill out the pin and tack. Better option is have your stock ones modified to be adjustable.
  3. Attached pix of the clutches Ive got. The 4 spring center is the Exedy clutch, the other with the smaller spring center is the NKK. You can tell from the surface of the NKK that it has hardly been used. The clutch surfaces are still being worn in, made flat. Will pull out the caliper and measure the thickness of both clutches. Judging by the pix they still look healthy.
  4. $190 posted. Ill get pictures of them tonight.
  5. Ive got the accelerator cable. PM me.
  6. Ive got a clutch and flywheel, pedal assembly, clutch master. Located near Parramatta. Ill give you a clutch and pressure plate for $150, clutch master for $50, clutch pedal assembly(if you need to change the brake one too Ive got that) for $50.
  7. Damn we just had council clean up, threw out about 20 stackable chairs, a a timber kitchen table and a few other things! I just saw this...
  8. Ah lol my mistake lol, I always do that. Guildford spares, 2 mins from parramatta.
  9. I will trade clutches for parts I need with cash adjustment either way! I need an oil cooler I need a set of 1/2 sockets I need a dump pipe for an R33 GTST I need a T3 flange gasket and I need a Nissan 6 bolt rear turbo gasket PM me!
  10. My offer stands. You want em gone tomorrow ill take em tomorrow. PM me if you change your mind.
  11. I'm actually surprised a non turbo XR6 can even keep up in first... Against a manual XR6T my old skyline would slide away abit in first and quickly get away in second....
  12. Still got! Accepting anything people have to offer(within reason). PM Sent!
  13. Ahh lol I wouldn't drive too far for them. I don't know about deliveries but I picked up a bottle of 4 litre VMX castrol for $35, the tube of G70 for $10, nulon concentrated coolant for $30(5L). Repco/super cheap have these for $42, $15, $38 respectively. Got my spark plugs for $3 each. I'm not saying the savings are too huge but they are definitely cheaper than other general auto stores. What are you after? I live like 2 mins from the shop I can check it out when I go in. 9632 3888
  14. Very much doubt a $300 setup has a thermostat. Ill take this pending pictures. Need a unit asap.
  15. Get all your stuff from these guys. Most people go autobarn, super cheap, repco. I can almost guarantee everything you will shop for they will have, or can get and it will be cheaper. They are at Guilford on Guilford road.
  16. Where are you located? Would you do the job for others as I don't have the appropriate tools and my car always one legs and pulls to one side. Obviously some moola will be given. Can post the internals so you don't have to take the entire diff.
  17. Have no reason to take it out. I was just fiddling with settings trying to diagnose my WG as its old and I suspect its leaking. So if its leaking, It might not see a proper pressure signal and work accordingly.
  18. That is true but judging by my current car, I wouldn't rely too heavily on it. My spring seems a little sticky and my wastegate is leaking. Switching my boost controller off(0%) I had boost hit about 12psi. Best advice is remove what you need to, have it tested then put it back on. Drive the car easily though.
  19. Won't this be relying on the wastegate spring to control boost? If so he should take it easy while driving it, those old springs and wastegates get tired.
  20. Stock or aftermarket?
  21. Need to remove the line going to your ebc and fit the standard boost solenoid in there. You will see your ebc tapped in between some vacuum and your wastegate. Get rid of that and put your boost solenoid in place.
  22. Hey all, I know a fair few people who all run HIDs in their car which shouldn't. Anyhow my mate recently got done for HID's in his golf and was told if he had washers fitted in, they would be fine. I came across these as they are the closest thing I could find http://cgi.ebay.com.au/69-71-Chevelle-Nova-Camaro-HeadLight-Washers-/120709159153?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c1ad398f1 Does anyone think this would work? These tap in and basically what the plan would be is to modify the washer fluid bottle and add another pump to feed the nozzles. These have adjustable nozzles so they can be aimed at the headlight(low and high beam). Another option is to simply get windscreen washers(10bux for a set) and just mount then on the front bar. If this is done, is it as simple as that or will the car need to have these things engineered? From what Ive been told and read, for HID's to be legal you either need A: auto leveling headlights or B: washers. Washers is the easiest option. I also have no idea why or how washers would make them legal. Anyone have any input?
  23. Is that piece of cooler piping that I can see still there? I'll take it for $5, I can use it for something. PM me, I'm near parramatta so might have to come west.
  24. Don't think so, the clutch is a little bigger on the vl. I almost bought a vl clutch but was told our cars are 240mm and the mx7 is 250mm or something. Then again the whole flywheel on an r33 is a flat surface so as long it's machined and the clutch cover fits the rb25det bellhousing and the starter motor teeth fit with no obstruction from the clutch cover I guess it could work...
  25. Either pedal related or you didn't fit somethig right to push the pressure plate. Adjust the pin on the pedal.
