Posting Wtb In For Sale
R31Nismoid replied to sinistaGTR's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
I remove them on a weekly basis, just like I always have. Repeat offenders get a warning. I was doing it every 3-4 weeks up until a month ago (time poor)... But I'm back to normal now. So currently it's pretty much how it has been previously. -
lol @ reading Urbanspoon to determine if a place is good to eat at. That's the biggest fail of a process. ever. Might come along... Missed the Kebab Joint ones unfortunately

For Sale - Admin Crackdown.
R31Nismoid replied to R31Nismoid's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
We are stopping the pointless and often off topic posts that end up in threads, it then results to people having a go at each other and so on. If you are that committed, to altering IPs and so on, just to be a pain in the ass - Then you really need to find a better hobby. This has nothing to do with your SAU Nats example... This is between the half a dozen people that run this website, and you. That is all a warning is between, it is not public view/discussion. If you are behaving, following the rules, then you have nothing to worry about at all. It's really that simple. The consensus among Admin has been from day 1 - never to remove warnings. The system is not changing and that's just how it is. So again i say, if you are following the pretty relaxed rules around here, there is no real point in worry about it. To note since this post went up, and we've kept an eye on things... Post reports have basically disappeared. Admin work has been cut back, users are understanding not to go around trashing/arguing/fighting and posting totally pointless shit in FS topics. That is considered a good end result if everyone gets along better and forum runs smoother. -
Stock Bnr32 Turbo Limitation
R31Nismoid replied to 450Nickisonfire's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
End of the day you are still limited by the compressor wheel. Regardless of 360 degree bearings or non-ceramic rear... You'll only ever be making 280-290rwkw as the turbos simply do not flow the air to make anymore than that. -
Edited and locked. If you wish to promote/trade on SAU, you are required to become a paying trader just like everyone else and support the community. For more details read this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/294953-are-you-a-business-want-to-advertise-on-sau-click-here/ Admin

Massive Amount Of Random Spam
R31Nismoid replied to GH05T's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
Yep pretty much a big wave/attack at the moment (it always comes in sporadic hits). Just report the posts and we will get through them. -
They are larger than -5s actually. So you make more top end. Well suited to a 3ltr, in fact you'd almost say perfect - nice 400rwkw on PULP with solid response, that's a win.

For Sale Or Swap R33 Rb26Dett Conversion
R31Nismoid replied to 500hp's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
OP is known banned user, banned again... And will continue to ban. Users should report things like this, rather than going on the attack in threads - it serves no purpose. Buyer beware like all things. Ensure you get them professionally checked out. -
The OCZ Agility have had major issues, the current generation I'm not sure about but the previous 2-3 have all had problems. I'm currently running an old OCZ as well in my Lappie, will change it shortly as all sorts of weird shit keeps happening with blue screens, windows failed to load etc - And it's all started since i put the bloody thing in 8 months ago. Was fine before that Mate had the same issues with his Agility as well, almost identical... Samsung / Sandisk definitely a good buy. Have Sandisk's that have run fine for 18 months, on 24x7 on a PC... Only thing I notice with them is after long periods of inactivity (say, overnight)... Sometimes it takes 2-3 seconds for the drive to realise I'm exploring it when I go to use it the next day. Not really something that bothers me, just something I've noticed.

Wrecking 1992 R32 Gtst Complete Car
R31Nismoid replied to SIFTY32's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Closed. Looks very much like a backyard trader or a business by the sheer volume of parts/cars being wrecked. Either way you are required to pay Trader fees like everyone else. For further details see here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/294953-are-you-a-business-want-to-advertise-on-sau-click-here/ Thanks Admin -
Until police actually police it - ie - fining them - flashing some lights because he is in a hurry to get somewhere will do nothing to stop the problem. Just means you sit behind them and get a nice run down the Eastern, i get that now and again, works well.

PFRE are no longer a valid SAU Trader. We've been working with people impacted as long as we can in the hope they would get their money back or at least the goods they paid for. 2 months on some people have been sorted out (hence we've been holding off decision on Trader), but unfortunately others people have not even been contacted and this is simply not good enough and it cannot continue. An unfortunate situation as the work was good, when it was actually done.

Australian Motoring Enthusiasts Party Needs Your Support!
R31Nismoid replied to Chappy's topic in National Events
Yeah the old "above the line" ... Having a look @ the Victorian AMEP above line preference... Good son of rajab... Thank god I voted below the line and did my research, for those that didn't - bet they had NO idea of where preference went and if they did know, wouldn't have done it. -
That is where the restrictors will be.
-
GT35 - 400rwkw turbo. You're going to need more than 550cc injectors unless you plan to run a pretty high base pressure to start off with which would then lead to ensuring you have a very good fuel pump to supply the fuel @ that rate/pressure.
-
He is running E85 - so his graph does not really help as you are on PULP and have a setup that is pretty clearly not fully sorted yet Once you do you should see a good 40-50rwkw gain. Also even though the exhaust is "3.5"... If it's a Jap Exhaust it might have a 2.5" restrictor somewhere before a muffler and this is quite common and will hurt performance. If it's a custom system made here, then it will be ok
-
He should be fining them, that would then be awesome and actually making a difference because hate to say it, but it was unlikely he was doing it to let them know they were in the wrong... More likely all he wanted to do was get to the area around the Chandler fast as possible so he could set-up for revenue raising hour of people coming inbound/speeding like normal in the arvo.

Email Notifications Not Working
R31Nismoid replied to Duncan's topic in Site discussion - including Ideas/Feedback & Bugs
Mandrill having problems then... I've had no notification today -
With 360rwkw, sticky tyres... a 10.90-10.99 is certainly on the cards if you can drive. Usual stuff like a working diff, clutch, suspension, tyres all required.
