  1. Hmm I'm not getting any issues and Im using Firefox all day... Is this just localised to the WA section or not? Seems its larger problem? But then I've not had one issue, usually with such problems i notice it right off on my test accounts etc
  2. 2 hours? What on earth are you guys doing? I can have my whole car washed (exterior) in around 15mins, 20mins if im being slow. 10mins to dry, 15-20 if im talking or on the phone. Interior isn't much more than a wiper over of the dash, doors etc. A good body detail, with good wax etc = cut times down MASSIVELY. I can almost wash my car just off a high pressure hose because of it, and im talking full brown dirt thats been there for 3-4 days
  3. Name for new section? You lot give suggestions, I've got NFI
  4. I'll say this first before the rest, cams will not fix your problem. Read on if you want to know why, as it has nothing to do with cams, otherwise go with what you've been told. E85 is masking the exhaust restriction just like race fuel does. I have the same setup as you, but make more power on 5psi less and on PULP. Difference? 3.5" exhaust. I'm even using the stock cooler as are most other people making 360-380, no problems at all. To say it was the cooler is poor advice, which you've now seen first hand was plain wrong. IMO that's two strikes for that tuner (cooler/exhaust), go somewhere else. You also didn't need upgraded fuel lines so i hope that wasn't more bad advice and the 3rd strike...
  5. yeah same issue with 25/26 heads on a 20. of course money solves everything but that's against the point here as there is clear budget. I see what you mean by 10% extra, but then look and what you get with a 25. More again in every area. If you did cost vs gain, the 25 beats rb22. For maybe 1500 more you get 15%, rarely do you get gains like that on economy of scale in performance. Realistically there are no legal issues, and its not height problems like a 3ltr. I still vote wrecker 20 for super budget.
  6. I'd disagree... VCT is worth the minor expense. cost for dollar, its worth it. It'll also work with some cam choices making it better again.
  7. Now that is a sensual police car

LOL You've hit the nail on the head there Ant!
  9. lol that's the spirit you driving FRAUD?
  10. fark Chris, no good at all!
  11. You do realise that's a copy kit yes? With what looks like a nasty cheap manifold... All i can foresee is disaster with that knock off kit... The proper Trust kit, that comes with a decent manifold, costs a LOT more than 1200.
  12. Sounds like you saw me, that's how my Sunday went down hehe. but yeah, prefer to wash my own. i take far more care production style places.
  13. I'm not aware of any that exist. Why spend 1200-1400 on a manifold when there is next to no gain? A 2530 is only going to make 230rwkw at the most, which is well within the stock items capability. If you were talking 260+ then you'd perhaps think about it simply because the TD06 kit comes with one.
  14. Decent head always gets a good response... Seriously though spending money on a 20 head is a waste. They are fine for stock capacity upto the 260-270 mark which we've seen plenty of users do. So i wouldn't be spending the money there at all.
  15. ^ +1 Utterly useless off the stock sensor.
  16. Or the car was tuned with a failing pump. And hence heaps of fuel was added in. The reg is simple to test with a pressure gauge.
  17. I can tell you 100% the D2/KSport come outta the same factory. They are separate companies, but owned by two brothers with the same receptionist Import Monster have been kind enough to offer thier facility to perform as much testing as i wish for the greater good of SAU. So I will try my best to attempt as many of the tests as this EVO owner. Both as the kit goes on, and afer 1,000km of hard use to give everyone another point of view. I also have access to a car with Alcons, so will give some comparo tests there are well. Will probably take a couple days, but i think its worth it. TL;DR: I'll do a full review
  18. Please start using the appropriate section for questions. I've moved 4 threads already out of General Auto. Gen Auto is for General Automotive discussion around the world. Not skyline specific (for which we have many sections) Thanks.
  19. I've had 3M tape for incabin before, not the most reliable solution. There is something better but the name of it escapes me at the moment.
  20. The idea of a 500 wrecker motor i read above, best solution. 2.2 is a lot of money considering what you get if you are after a rebuild etc. Look at the TD06 / RB20 guys making a nice 250-260 on stock motors, would be the economic choice as the 20, even 2.2... won't have 'that' much more down low etc. As stated also the major issue is the head when it flows around 30% less than a 25 head from most info posted.
  21. bosch pump, injectors 550cc or bigger. GT3071, FMIC, AFM and a tune. tried, proven, reliable 270-280rwkw.
  22. Please read forum rulesand adhere to them or this will be locked.
  23. Why not? Trying to bring some life back here! oh, and 4WD is king!
  24. Depends on who does the inspection on the day as to what will/won't pass etc. airbox and exhaust should be all you'll need. the other stuff isn't really noticeable.
  25. I think you are gay Russ, you too Campbell!
