  1. GTR and GT-t not quite the same dude far as I am aware. I'm not up with GT-t airboxes, but do they have the side feed from the guard like GTRs? (GTR items will do well over 300rwkw) There are a few guys on 280rwkw with stock R33 GTS-t airboxes so your GT-t airbox in theory should be ok. Some have made over 300 but i believe that wasn't on PUMP fuel, E85 was used. Guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to actually try and do some back to back
  2. A T04Z is a 600rwhp turbo, bad choice for 400rwhp. I suggest you really do some more reading. Go through the RB25 dyno results thread. You'll see that it's a fine line between power and reliability. Most people over 280rwkw have built motors, or are on E85 (upto around 320rwkw). 300rwkw is a realistic limit for a stock RB25, should last many years. A GT3071 or GT3076 would be your best bet - Use the search are there are many 5-10 pages threads on that specific turbo selection with more info than you'll ever need. I'm a function over "wow". No point having the "wow" and only 400rwhp car with handling like a boat. Better off saving your money on costly "wow" setups that offer nothing, and making worthwhile modifications and have a 400rwhp car that will drive like it's on rails as handling/suspension/brakes will cost the same, if not more, than the power modifications.
  3. If im doing pushup sets i mix it up 3 ways. close/shoulder/wide space, so 3 sets x 3 - you hurt in every area, and get a good tri workout too! You can even mix it up and do it with feet on a bench etc. And not these half hearted efforts - down to the nose, and ensuring shoulder blades almost meet. Just that little extra movement i found made quite a difference. I've just started back in the gym, 2 sessions thus far in 4 days. Hurting pretty bad but it'll pass no doubt. Going to start up with a mate who's just moved to Footscray, nothing like a mate for motivation and to push each other. So once i settle in I'll start a little log of progress and what not. Infact thoughts on a "sub forum" for people to have thier own work logs?

Forget the BOV noise - just stick your head out the window and yell to impress the young chicks As for exhausts, in all honesty most are much of a muchness in what im suspecting is your price range. Youy can pickup cheap 2nd hand items from the For Sale section for anywhere from 250-550. Single muffler = louder/more dronge, thats about the major difference in the 3" range. And the larger the tip out the cannon, the more drone also.

  6. Yeah ECU first pretty much in all instances. Without it, forget running more than 7-9psi as the ECU will simply have a fit, not to mention you need injectors. Have you even read the "what mods to do first" thread? The RB25 dyno sticky? You'll soon notice if you read every GT-RS thread, what the minimum requirements are.

  8. Depends on setup. As above, even over 300rwkw a 3" after the merge and before the CAT can hurt performance.
  9. I didn't end up making it, was missing 2 wheel nuts off front right wheel. No socket, and no spare nuts... The 2x Euro cars were 12.6-12.7 @ 113mph or there abouts. Blown LS1 ran 10.75 MPH was stuffed in the right lane apparently. Always something wrong with Heathcote & Timing, rather annoying.

    Its getting to the point that people need to protest against this sorta shit. I mean there are more laws by the day, yet less facilities, entry pricing that is increasing by the day. It's a load of shit. Not saying the Hoon laws are a bad thing, more so that anyone with a modified car is being labelled as one.
  11. Ah i was talking thing like camber etc, you need MUCH more than you would run on the street. Have a read of the MSport section, you really won't get much benefit of slicks by the sounds of your setup and would be far better off with semi's.
  12. So what forum was that all posted on? I've never seen such threads here stating such things. Everyone knows 10-12psi MAX for long turbo life. Run more boost, expect it to die due to the ceramic rear wheel. Compressor wheel makes no difference, simple as that really. Would have just been cheaper to produce. Wasn't a performance decision.

  17. The DBA rotors are $1000+ just on thier own. I know a few people with KSport so this perhaps is isolated, and to be fair - any manufacturing could be like that. My Trial set for a GB is on the way. Gone with the D2/G4 kit in the end. Will have em on after Motive Drag Battle and then organise the GB once im happy they are a good option.

  19. ^ +1 I cannot see why it should be worse than 12L/100 if i can get around the 9-10L marker give/take in 2.6. You should by rights be pretty close all things considered i reckon as a GTS-T will further aid due to the weight savings. You aren't lugging that extra 150kg. Also something i didnt think of, i have the GTR win set to full angle "down", so over 500-700km having it "up" could even make a difference especially when i was @ 120-130km/h most of the way. I might up on the next trip
  20. Probably because you have sensor issues. AFM, CAS etc. Could be anything. So you are just 'resetting' the circuit really. Take it to a workshop if you are unable to check these things yourself.
  21. Reseller or not, you have the reciept from JustJap, they should be resolving this issue FOR you or replacing it if not possible. From experience thus far - the Aussie KSport Distro guy is... not really that forthcoming or reasonable.
