A ported OP6 seems to realistically run outta flow around the 270-280rwkw marker. Sometimes people get more, but more often than not it's not the case. I've never been impressed with AVO's housings for the price. They never seem to make the numbers vs response compared against Garrett. A Garrett with ported gate/enlarged flapper - i concur is another option that could be reasonable... But you'll still get capped upper RPM as its smaller than the HKS.

Power isn't important at all. Skill & car setup are far more important than power.

EVO 7/8/9 are so far ahead of a GT-t it's not funny. You are comparing the flagship model of Mistu to a middle range model of Nissan. EVO vs GTR, not GT-t. EVO's are one of the fastest street cars for dollar spent getting around at the moment IMO. They are blisteringly fast to 120-140km/h. Get the EVO - tune/boost/exhaust you'll see 200awkw, thats using the factory ECU as well.

Oh ye i read that - wasnt sure if it just meant the engine was "like new". As it doesnt go into details of a rebuild So that would mean its 2nd hand, and not really new!

Ye you had to be 100% perfect, and even then depending on the spawn of enemies you weren't a certainty to win it lol. EVO IX run more than 14psi, i can tell you that right now. Upper RPM it drops off to around 14psi IIRC but it spikes deliberately to i think 17psi and falls back down to either 12 or 14 I'll find out next i talk to a mate who tunes em as its basically the first thing you fix - get boost holding and you get the extra 20-30rwkw, then exhaust etc and off you go.

Ye brilliant game. Golden Eye was simply the best game EVER for its time. Even now you play stuff like COD etc on PC and the AI isn't that much better, nor is the story line anywhere near as awesome (yes i know its based on a movie). The "cheat" challenges were also ridiculously fken hard to the point of being genuinely almost impossible!!! I remember the Silo level achievement clearly (lvl 2 or 3). It took us (myself & my bro) i think 2 months of solid attempts for hours to achieve the 2min 15sec completion cheat, it was the most difficult of all of them so much that even half a second delay at any point and you'd miss it. It was childhood euphoria at its best

Not sure about that part just yet, having issues getting a totally automated process going (online entry, submission etc). The accomodation part is fully online and works, tested it out the other day (its 3rd party) so thats good news and people can sort accomm out as soon as the site is launched.

Holy fark... Only 420-440 on the freeway? When i did Melb/Syd over xmas in the GTR (full weight) - 130km/h the whole way, so i think 3300rpm. Stock gearing, 2.65L 600km 1st tank. Fuel light on 650km 2nd tank. No Fuel light I'm sure i could do 700km based upon the 2nd tank (which i stayed off boost for 95% of it) So under 10L/100km, could be as low as 9L. I'll repeat the trip later in the year too and try for 700-750. I feel power is laregly an irrelevant factor when you are on the FWY and not using boost. I'd expect a RB30 to use more fuel though for the same distance. Larger motor - same RPM = more fuel.

Ye you'd say both in good condition - maybe 1500. But with a busted one, someone still has to buy a new one @ $1100 so on its own it's not worth a lot as if you do buy a new one... You then have new, one used - so realistically it doesnt make sense to spend 500 on a 2nd hand one when you can buy 2x new ones for the extra 500

Pretty sure we've all agreed on the trophy structure too, and whilst it has a "skyline" focus of course, there are plenty of options for non-skyline owners who've certainly not been forgotten Website aint far off so i'll be sure to include all that info as well

Well yes, the absolute cost generally isn't realised initially. But to answer the topic - it can be done and 'reasonably' easy. LOL... What are you on about? If you JUST want to bolt on your standard "VLt" kit, you can run 5psi no problems. There isn't an issue at all on a N/A motor. You don't need decomp plates, you dont need to rebuild the motor etc etc. If you add an intercooler then you can run 200rwkw without even a worry in the world. Countless people have done it now.
