  1. By rights it probably should've been explained too you, or at least your attention brought to it etc. See how you go, but with the exhaust etc, its gonna be kinda hard as even if you fix one... you still have the other(s) so its a case of overall package needs sorting.
  2. As Ian said... you've several issues. main two being that exhaust and the timing. A whole tooth has all sorts of wrong going on mate. When the tuner only managed 300rwkw at 20... what was discussed? What areas did he say needed attention?
  3. Power vs lag = it'll be laggy with that turbo. No two ways around it regardless of what people tell you. You can't bolt on a 700hp turbo and expect response If you had some head work, cam, exhaust manifold and a 3.5-4" exhaust you'd make 350-370rwkw and this would obviously offset the lag in that respect. However my stab in the dark will be 300rwkw depending on how much boost can be wound in. Which is what a 3076 would have done See how it goes either way.
  4. Funny... I was @ Import Monster today looking at that exact wheel/tyre combo with pink caps. The staff there informed me that they had not been paid for as yet. To make matters even worse, they were for sale @ $1700 Do not post up For Sale items that you do not own - or you will have posting rights removed.
  5. also exhaust is a bit small. a 3076 would've been a better choice for your current mod levels.
  6. have a look at calaisturbo.com dude, that's pretty much the standard combo over there been 8years since I've really looked at 30et results. stock exhaust manifold and cams will be your issues though with that turbo/motor combo. you need a bit of cam to get the ole SOHC working with a 35
  7. You do realise that ATTESA/4WD system doesn't work correctly if you do that? Tyre width needs to be the same for the system to accurately function. Rims can be say 10 & 10.5, as long as the tyres are the same. It's not like a GTS-t where you can have offset tyre widths front/rear.
  8. You can easily buy the guards and so on. It's really a non issue and they don't cost too much. A 33GTS-t for example - sells for what, 10-12k less than a 33GTR in most cases (yes this is general) You'll spend MORE getting a GTR to RWD than you would putting a 26 into the GTS-t and upgrading brakes and so on. So end of the day you spend more, for the same result. That makes it rather pointless.
  9. It's a random thing. Not a constantly repeatable one. If you can force it to occur, then you've other issues than the ECU having a minor hiccup due to the addressing once every so often
  10. 26 Sump adds strength that a tin one doesn't. use the 26 sump, cut the diff off. cheap, effective, and its what most people do... myself included.
  11. on skylines, no.
  12. Do you even realise the factory engine for a Mk4 Supra is a 2JZ? That's why people are taking the piss outta ya. Why would you want to "transplant" a motor that is already in the engine bay?

  14. Considering how little/hard results are to find. And the fact it's directly off a diesel motor - I'm going to have a guess @ not so great and excessive lag for the power result. How much power do you want/what is the budget?
  15. How does he intend to build you a motor if you do not have a good machine shop? This doesn't make logical sense at all. I still vote - if you are going to spend 5 figures (which you will easily with your part list)... Get someone over here, NZ or JPN to build it and ship it. For that amount of money it's really not worth the risk. Big power, in a GTR - demands a good build or you'll split blocks or spin bearings
  16. You have 255s on the front and 295s on the rear?
  17. Manifold only seems to be an issue on 3ltrs @ 300rwkw. People have made more on a 2.5l without issue. Intake isnt an issue, 370rwkw isnt a problem
  18. Well no - it's still down on 50rwkw for the boost/setup you have. So whilst you had bung plug, it doesn't explain the rest. Or why the plug was fouled in the first place. I was stating a fact - It was totally neutral. Have a look at his post history. He's had a number of issues with the car of late. If stating fact is a non friendly tone, well stuffed if i know what your talking about.
  19. Especially with your threads the past month, certainly issues
  20. They will support 330-350rwkw. But who knows whats going on. You've fitted an aftermarket reg, it could be set wrong. Fuel pump might be having issues, fuel filter even As for the power you might have exhaust restrictions, timing could be wrong Who knows mate. I think there is more to your problem and it's not coil packs at this stage. Either way you must take it and get it looked at on a dyno, see what the fuel pressure, AFR's, boost etc is all doing.
  21. A 35R should be making a LOT more than 290rwkw @ 20psi. You'd expect around 340rwkw. Clearly you have issues going on, probably a combination. I suggest you go back to whoever tuned it and get it on the dyno to diagnose the problems. Could be a number of issues.
  22. That comment comes as the least surprising given what goes on over there, it's rather pathetic But props to all who've made this community so big, so great and simply - so much fken fun!

  24. Well clearly you are running out of injector flow...
