My limiter on a stocker head was 8200. With some upgraded inaards & gizzards I cannot see why it wouldn't be possible. 10,000rpm would be getting expensive but 9k, should be quite achievable. But as said, start with a NEO perhaps? Would be the easiest way.

I ran a RB20 gearbox behind 220rwkw of RB25 a few years ago now. It was totally fine for a year, maybe longer. Maybe 50-60 passes @ the drags too! Perhaps you need to be a bit kinder, or indeed - RB25 gearbox time
