  1. Sounds like typical AFM issues. Simply unplugging won't do anything. It's an intermittent error within the AFM itself. Try swapping with a known working set. I'd say it'll be fine then. Failing that, put a stock ECU in and see what happens.
  2. I always thought it just to be a 31 thing with added space in engine bay and around the front of the car aiding airflow. My GTR does as well though with a decent after market rad, which I found interesting and dispelled that one.
  3. $1000? It'd wanna be a good one, thats one expensive anchor
  4. Of course it's not normal. You pay and pickup the car on the same day, end of story.
  5. ^ Now that's the kinda shit I'm talking about. 70psi its flowing ~235L/hr. 40ltr/hr extra @ 70psi is hardly just a "bit more" via voltage Clearly the Nissan OEM is spec'd down with ~250L/ph @ base pressure.
  6. Yours? It had a good life, it was certainly it's time.
  7. Traction Tyres, Rowville.
  8. I did some numbers the other day and if i didn't end up with a 1 x WD, and 2x 4WD helli sessions, my scorecard would've had a top 10 easy. But fk that, 4WD helli's are much more entertaining, as is smoke pouring outta the air vents for 5mins afterwards. I can't wait to go upto a mates "bogan" DECA as well call it where it's just blown V8's doing summernats style burnout displays... I'll show em what 4WD helli's are about
  9. If the GTR factory pump can make 380rwkw/20psi (Snowmans car did, everyone assumed aftermarket pump, which it turned out not to be). It can't be flowing 195L/ph. My point was it would most certainly appear that what is on the Japanese spec sheet is perhaps not what is going on in reality. Someone have both handy? Would make for an interesting test!
  10. You talking stock radiator? I wouldn't be tracking with a stock one. I mean you can in a stockish car, but its not really ideal. With a aftermarket radiator, my RB25 and RB26 both sit between 67-75 putting around. Only giving it an absolute gut full will see upwards of 80+ IMO invest in a radiator if you are see 98, thats up there.
  11. The mark of "spew" at the dinner table will never be surpassed
  12. The forum clock is 1hr behind, technically he was right
  13. try using the correct section.
  14. Ah there was a forum setting issue. You could "download" them, but they wouldnt show as thumbnails I've fixed this up, much easier to see it all now guys. Joys of being Admin, sometimes you don't notice little things like that until you test it
  15. I guess as long as you don't break a differential... haha I've fixed that bit up
  16. lol... so whats why it's occurring. I bet Dan has been playing with it again haha, too funny
  17. And done! Enjoy the light reading for a Friday. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/359407-2011-shellferrari-f1-experience/
  18. I've added a news item to the front page of the Ferrari/Shell F1 Tour I did last week. All complete with pics, write-up, random facts and a summary of the F1 Simulator... Check it out and gimme feedback http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/359406-2011-shellferrari-f1-experience/ Cheers all Ash
  19. Mine we certainly stainless, they went "off" as stainless does with heat. But you are indeed right about 5 bolt, thats very odd. Most 3.5-4" flanges I've seen are all 3 bolt, where 3" are 2
  20. Take 1-2psi out of it. You might find the issue simply then goes away - reasons covered in post above me
  21. I think $187/day per car is a flawed business model Lets say 5 hoists (so a reasonable shop size) $930/day, and that is absolute income with everyone doing an overnight as well. So realistically it'll be less, far less. Rent, insurance, initial fit out, repairs/downtime, staff cost to man the joint... You'd take 5-7 years before you come close to getting your money back as you are not selling anything or have any supplemental income. Ok if you already owned the premises or something. Location is a major issue i think for most - and anywhere half central in Vic will cost you half an arsehole
  22. ROFL...
  23. As per what Dezz said. No 20-22 year old @ Uni has that type of money. Fair enough if the guy was an entrepreneur or something and @ 20 got onto a good deal - I'll pay that as respect. But you can spot a student mate and there is no way all of them have got onto a good thing (which are indo or asian, not being racist, just fact)
  24. And thats pretty much the sum of it.
