  1. lol not being able to find the fuel release is a major issue with a stagea!
  2. the vin should still be stamped intothe firewall above the motor, not on a plate
  3. See all of the SAU members at superlap.....nice and dry in the tent on turn 2
  4. I think it's much more likely they system is not bled properly - the heater is not working because there is a big air bubble there probably. Have you replaced the coolant, and if so what procedure did you follow to bleed it. You should run the heater on hot while bleeding, prefeably with the nose of the car pointing uphill. There may also be a bleeder on the engine block you should open, certainly is on rbs
  5. Almost certain all cars will be parked outside...they are expecting a decent crowd/
  6. lol....maybe sleeping off a bender. "any ports in a storm"!
  7. look....disco stu has checked in!
  8. what is "IT"??? I've been told I don't have "it".
  9. get rid of those nugget bush bearing turbos and put some proper ball bearing turbs on instead
  10. yeah I'll be there.... SAU will have a marquee on the hill at turn 2 for club members to drop by (and possibly huddle under while it pisses down raining!)
  11. you can always double check the numbers on the DBA site - they are normally pretty accurate
  12. exactly. a cam gear is a cam gear. only thing to watch out for is the timing marks may be inaccurate on some of the cheaper ones. So don't just set it to some magic number you read on the internet - actually tune it on the dyno for the goal you are after (this always applies anyway...otherwise why did buy adjustable gears)
  13. fark. the new whorethread has been started.
  14. 32, 33 all models and 34 4wd are all interchangeable (and s1 stagea for that matter). But 34 gtt seats will not fit in 32 gtr without mods.
  15. Thread locked. Please post in the correct section as discussed above.
  16. hahah must have been trying to revive the dawn runs
  17. lol that's the one! The only constant is change, although Kel has got worse over the years not better.....passenger to tarmac navigator and now dirt navigator....who knows where next?
  18. Thread closed. We do not need anyone organising "runs" at the moment - I'm sure you mean "cruise" but it still does not help. For SAU NSW members the old thread is in the members section: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/We...&start=2520. I went along to the meet on Thursday and apart from one peanut brain everything was pretty sensible...but still. Of course, any one can organise any meet they want....just not on here for a while..... If you want to show your respects to Tom, come along to the funeral/memorial tomorrow, I hope there will be a good turn out to show the respects.
  19. yeah it was a good turn out on Friday....I'll be there tomorrow too
  20. good choice on the stand. where from and what price, that is what i need.
  21. great times....well done!
  22. yeah good point...I meant no further engine damage or anything major....do doubt the longer you leave it the more stuffed the manifold is likely to be
  23. yeah could well be the first ipra gtir. we used to have one in nsw production cars but it hasn't been out for ages. used to have a familiar gtr as well.
  24. cruisng prolly! I would be if I looked that cool
  25. not just you...that's there are SFA turbo cars in IPRA. I don't think they will ever understand how much damage they have done to their category. eg NSW state supersprint from today: 11 of the top 20 cars were turboed, and if you exclude sports sedans and open wheelers, every single tin top in the top 20 was turboed.
