That guys a douche for sure, if I owned a gtr I would definently not be doing stupid stuff like that in it.
Is that his fuel light on the whole time he's doing that?
Absolute idiot...
Not sure on the colour of the CAS.
My ecu doesn't seem to match any wiring diagrams that exist for the r33, which is frustrating to say the least because it makes it real hard to find out what is throwing the exhaust temp light.
At least pin 33 has been eliminated as the culprit...
I sent the z32 ecu back to matt this week to be looked at and he ended up cutting pin 33 on the ecu side. Got the z32 ecu back today and unfortunently this did nothing, excpet that now my revs drop at idle when the a/c is turned on.
In regards to the plugs for the afm, your stock one had 4 wires didn't it kasko? Which is the same as the z32 plug.
Mine is a series 2 which only has 3 wires (i belive its the same as an r34 afm) from what I can tell I have to put ground and signal ground into the same wire on the stock afm meter loom.
I already have a tomei plug with the 4 wires, so should I just get the exact same plug that's on my stock afm so the wires can be connected up to it and then just clip it to the afm loom?
Anyone with electrical wiring knowledge or someone who has fitted a z32 to their r33 s2 or r34?
Yeh, I was gonna do that with the turbo seeing as to put in the intake I gotta take out the intercooler pipes in the engine bay to get to it and that will have to be done for the turbo as well
I got a nismo in tank so I think it's near identical to the stock setup.
Just had a thought about the profec, im guessing you gotta disconnect the stock boost solenoid, so will it be fine for me to still drive around with the profec b turned off just using wastegate spring pressure to control boost?
Is it even worth trying to install the profec without having the new turbo in?
My dad mau actually have a soldering iron but I'll have to check with him.
What clips/plugs will I need to setup the quick swap over?
fuel pump, setup a quick swap over plug for the z32 afm, maybe profec b or something?
Working on good friday sounds rough though, not even supermarkets open good firday
For canberra, i think $500 is pretty competative. Does that include flywheel machine for the clutches which keep the stock flywheel?
I'd definently drive the 3.5hrs to sydney for $250 though.
So currently still having a few teething problems with the nistune setup, but should hopefully get sorted soon.
Still hoping to be able to do a bit of work on the car this weekend though
just had a look in the paint codes thread, the r33 gtr spoiler im after will be paint code KP4, which is the gtr version of kr4 silver on the 33 gtst.
I pm'd you my number so if you can send a photo through anyway, thatd be good.
