  1. Is the gtr like 1.5" or something like that? I think the gtst outlet is 1 1/8" or so.
  2. Are gtr bovs a direct bolt on for gtst's with same size return lines and everything?
  3. Yep, overflow was on max line then dropped a couple of cms.
  4. Can I assume that if the coolant level in the radiator hasn't dropped between now and when I did this thismorning that most air bubbles are out? When I first checked it this morning there was a lot less in there than what was put in originally after the turbo install. Im assuming this is because it's a closed system with the bolt ad radiator cap on and all the air that was trapped in the head etc making it seem like the coolant was full but overnight the air has just traveled to the top of the radiator?
  5. Righto, fingers crossed that fixes it.
  6. I Thought it might be something like air bubbles in the radiator perhaps. It's pitch black outside, I have no idea where the bleed screw is, so am I going to be able to see/feel this bleed screw easily or should I wait till tomorrow morning when I can see to locate it?
  7. I changed my turbo over today and after bolting everything back on, i can now hear a bubbling sound while im driving thats sounds like its coming from in the dash/ under hood? Doesn't happen constantly but every 10-20seconds. A shit tonne of coolant came out of the water lines of the turbo, so once they were bolted back up, I poured coolant and water into the top of the radiator. I'm thinking the bubbling has something to do with the way I have done that. The car does nt seem to overheat, but then again I haven't driven very far.
  8. Ok, will check it out. Anyone know why I can now hear a bubbling sound while im driving thats sounds like its coming from in the dash/ under hood? A shit tonne of coolant came out of the water lines of the turbo, so once they were bolted back up, I poured coolant and water into the top of the radiator. I'm thinking the bubbling has something to do with the way I have done that...
  9. Well after a really long day, turbo is in along with metal intake. At the moment the bov return and bov are bloked off, because I could not get the hose to go on the bung of the intake and the metal bov return pipe without kinking or touching the exhaust manifold. So a trip to enzed on Monday for some rubber hose in the right diameter an hopefully there wont be anything else major crop up.
  10. are these really that hard to come by?
  11. Maybe it was bought interstate and hasnt been rego'd in the ACT or something? I didnt even notice that til you mentioned it...
  12. Didn't you just recently sell a red r32 gtst and get this? Regardless, looks like a solid r32 with good power. Good luck with the sale!
  13. Im not saying its a bad cluth choice for youre power im merely asking Is 20-30rwkw enough wiggle room in terms or clamping force once the clutch wears abit? I'm interested to know is all.
  14. Where this guy get all his $$$ from to buy a gtr and then a supra? Must be slinging crack or something... Either way, he doesnt deserve to own such nice cars if he's gonna treat them like that!
  15. I didn't see the rear wheel part. If you guys manage to get your boost fixed up top and get say an extra 20kw you'll be closing in on 400rwhp won't you?
  16. Well if the clutch is only going to hold 400hp at the flywheel wouldnt that be barely enough clamping force for the guys with the ss1pu's that have 250kw at the wheels?
  17. Agreed on that!!! That's a ridiculously good price for an rb25det power fc, almost wanna buy it!
  18. Might be a stupid question, but where abouts are these clutches power ratings being measured at? If its only a 400hp clutch I hope it's at the wheels, but that seems like an odd place to measure it from for a clutch
  19. 38psi seems high, but I don't know anything...
  20. not having a lot of sucess tracking one down
  21. Might take you up on that. Did you have to shorten up your braided oil line or did you use the stock one?
  22. The oil feeding line supplied with the turbo looks like its gonna be a bit long, will this matter or should it be trimmed up? If so, how do i got about trimming it, because the fittings on each end dont look like they come off easily... And just to confirm its a 24mm socket/spanner need for the water line banjo bolts isn't it?
  23. There's a few s2's on eBay, but they are pretty pricey IMO. Maybe contact the sellers and see If they will do a straight swap for the stock r33 ecu you have or something?
  24. agreed, definently gotta buy him a beer at an SAU event
  25. Fingers crossed you get it back without any damage
