  1. I think that only seems to happen when people are dumping the clutch at high rpm on take offs but someone else maybe able to shed more light on that.
  2. Possibly get a base tune by someone in Canberra and let the turbo run in, then go to DVS to get the tune tweaked? If money is a factor, work out if it'll more $$$ to tow 4 hours or get a base tune here and drive up.
  3. how far are you going to be driving, isn't DVS a couple hours away?
  4. I'm always a little skeptical of eBay gear for my car, having said that they are relatively cheap on there. Anyone used them before?
  5. I guess Nissan could get them if you wanna give them your first born, but I'm sure there is other places on the web you could source some. If you find any for a decent price let me know as I will be needing new gaskets soon as well.
  6. Sorry guys, it sold really quick which I wasn't expecting. On a side note though, I will have the stock r33 turbo out of my gtst in the next month (it currently works fine) or so if you are still looking by then...
  7. fair call
  8. Not sure if you have already checked the fabrication section or not but there is a couple of guys in there that can make one up for you, Scotty nm35 amongst others can do them from memory
  9. Bit of a dig, but has anyone put a set of 18" or 19" te37's on a r33 gtst? If so what offset and width rims did you have on the front and back and was there any guard work etc necessary to fit them? What size tires did you run with them? Im looking at getting a set of them in black to go on my silver r33 gtst in a while, but i want to make sure I get the right sizing and offset so i can limit the amount of hassle with installing them. I would like to run federal 595's on them if possible...
  10. if he really is 7ft+ hes a freakin monster. Should be earning $$$ playing as a centre in the nba.
  11. Sold pending receipt of payment
  12. Thought I would post in here as well seeing as ACT people will be more inclined to read it in here and I'd prefer to sell locally. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/393374-r33-rb25-gtst-stock-turbo/ PM me if your interested or want to come and have a look...
  13. As stated in the title, I have a stock rb25 r33 gtst turbo for sale in working condition with minimal shaft play. Was originally bought to high flow (so I didnt have to remove my turbo and not be able to drive) but my plans have since changed. Looking for $150 and Im willing to post if you're willing to pay. Thanks, Mitch
  14. After doing a fair bit of research, and talking to jim I ended up going with a carbotic full monty clutch for my 33 gtst. Will report back about how it goes once i get it put in.
  15. Just spoted a mean looking silver r34 GTR stopped at the traffic lights of ginninderra dr and kingsford smith drive, headed towards charnwood. That is one legit looking car...
  16. Silver R33 is mine, I park it up there in the hope that no c**t dings it with a trolley or at least limit my chances of it happening.
  17. got a picture? willing to post?
  18. As mentioned above, you shouldn't need the airbox if your pod is secured. having said that I have a stock airbox, but not the snorkel And I'm not sure if I have all the bolts for it...
  19. I dont think the new radiator is needed unless there's something wrong with your current one, but I'm not an expert. Can't remember if you mentioned one or not but a boost controller of some description might be an idea as well. If your not keen on cutting a hole in your car for the return pipe on the fmic you listed, maybe look at a blitz return flow one, but that's up to you.
  20. What power are you hoping to get?
  21. i thought that was the case, but its better to be safe IMO.Thanks for that.
