Adam, I think you were thinking of the A-175A Lancer, I actually want one of those...they are 1980s. They could have been considered for the list above given it's Rally victory success in the 80s. I did see one but was snatched up really quick, has the early 4G32 motor and 4wd running gear...you can guess what I need the shell for a sleeper. GTSR22, you should learn to spell? 2000GT is a very car, love them too. Very sought after car in any collectors garage and demands more than a KPGC10.
  2. You are from the States, best also to check your import regulations on driving a RHD car there and emissions...good luck in your search.

  4. E3 don't do 12.9s stock more like mid 13s, mine did flat 13s when it was stock. E3 are cheap...E4 are the buy at the moment, but I'd buy at least an E5 if you can afford it. E5 is also when the Evo started to sit on a wider track then all the GT-Rs. I'd go either E3 or E5 min, else E6/6.5.
  5. There is something wrong with the poll...why is there a NO option? If you haven't noticed commonly these days J-guys have relocated the stickers onto the airbox under the bonnet...box looks plain so why not and keeps the car stickerfree. BTW: stickers on your car is what we J-locals in Japan call stickertune. Last weekend I came across some stickers which I bought and may stick on the rear window...with a grin reaper logo...it reads "DEATH IS NATURES WAY OF TELLING YOU TO SLOW DOWN!" THere was also another that read "S H I T_the future"

Galant GTO MR is 1970. As I said there are some I agree, some I don't and some which got left out. One I have to admit is the '80s DR30, I can't believe it is in there...it ain't nostalgic enough to mix with those in the list. Yes most are 60s and 70s. As for the voting, I'm not sure as I was only interested in the read itself. Many of the owner's who had their car featured basically kept the car in the family when their old man bought the car....the 2000GT was increadible...immaculately kept to this day. V8Skylineman: 211 is in there.
  7. Any of the above thanks To be honest not many of us in Tokyo mainly due to the living cost and though the atmosphere is big in Tokyo I feel you need to get out of Tokyo to see anything action . If you head down to Osaka, give us Kansai boys a yell we've all got cars here and if you want to see real action head down this way or the GT-R highway patrol car .
  8. Those are fuel additive stickers. I probably should look more into it but I just couldn't be bother and don't think it's much of a big deal. Last time I was at the getting fuel the attendant asked me if I wanted to top on that stuff as it just ran out, I asked him what it was and he said it was an fuel additive and cleaning or something...I dunno what anyway my friend was with me at the time and he said you should do it so I paid the extra 2000yen and the attendant popped in a small 500ml bottle of this stuff. It's nothing to worry about.
  9. Dude...I'm sure if time permits those in Tokyo will be happy to show you around, but what has this got to do with meeting your GF? Course unless she is bringing another female friend them I will make the effort to come over .
  10. Dave, I dunno but I'm sure you will have to do the same examination driving course at the police station. As for me I was just going to change my Aust motorcycle license, that is when I get around to doing it. I've still yet to change my International one yet. So if you have a bike license from UK change that one over it will be easier.

  16. Justin, what you doing tomorrow or Saturday...is that Sunshine wharf Super AB show on?
  17. I have to agree with Jess, Japan is no better or no worst than Australia or anywhere else. Stop your whinning biatches, how they drive is all dependent on the culture. You get use to it and that's it, highways are great and the cops leaving you alone given you haven't been a complete tool is already a pray from heaven. Only complaint I have is the poor coordination between all their traffic lights----> which is why red light runners are more apparent. But that just makes you more aware of the road conditions.
  18. ermmm...bawhahahah...sorry dude, yes only females use it.
  19. You can buy at the auctions with any car yard since your here alright aren't you? if not there are a few online you can use...google it. Whether any of them are good is another case .

  24. You know what it just occured to me he looks like Hoshino the Hanshin Tigers Coach who just retired last season...now this guy I know Nevered watched Baseball until I came to Japan
  25. Wrong Knore, everybody just loves picking the smart ass and that's exactly what you have been doing. Read your own posts. Seriously you should have quit way back in your second post and we all would have kindly educated you as well as others on why the Evo is as competitive as the GT-R. I've been asking you questions and you haven't been able to give me a straight answer yet. Others have been asking you questions and you haven't been able to give a straight answer either. Each time just jumping straight to the point of the styling...man you evidently display very shallow knowledge of the both cars in question. Furthermore being out of the country doesn't mean you have seen it all mate, you obviously know little about what makes a great performance car...especially the Evo, but that's OK because you already worship the greatest car ever built the GT-R can neva lose!!! If you can give us one single reason why the Evo doesn't cut it competively to any other performance car then perhaps we'll show you some respect...here's your chance!
