  1. Have to say but the 20 in my opinion sounds the best
  2. My stock clutch held 260kw and a clutch is around 800+ for a decent one
  3. Dam this is better then the plenum thread I opened haha can you guys make shorter posts makes the laughs come faster that's all. Hey dori throw the pop corn would you
  4. Dude no offence but not many people will swap a turbo car plus cash for a na 34
  5. Oh dear I would be checking that out before trouble begins
  6. You can either high mount or mod stock manifold to keep it low as above a spacer will prob be needed. Studs and nuts will be needed as they will likely break when manifold is removed oh and yes it's a costly excersise if you don't do it yourself
  7. +1 for you don't need a workshop for quality I site weld and clean all my jobs and people are always happy with the quality it all boils down to how well you can use your tools and experience. Tho I have to say brad you put out some nice looking work
  8. Angle grinder for sure would take 2 min to chop it or a power hacksaw is just as good
  9. You answered the question a t88 would flow a shot load more then a stock 25 turbo like I said before boost is just a number it's the flow that changes how it makes power.
  10. Ok so I'm using the same turbo I did on my 20 td06h-20g 8cm it's now going onto a sr so very little difference only diff being I'll be using a 3 bolt flange for the rear housing to see how well it flows changes spool time ect. I'm considering buying a blue lable td05-18g 8cm so that would bolt straight onto the mani I'm making for the sr. This way I can test the differences between the turbos I'm sure jez won't mind haha or boydy. Now I just need to get the BMW going haha
  11. Just dont run anything everybody is happy
  12. Boost is just a number but generally on stock comp with stock turbo 10 otherwise it's will miss and go no where. If you where to get a ecu then turn the boost up you will see around the 200 mark with stock turbo
  13. It should fit you need to cut the fan it sits there not over the radiator
  14. Anyone that can tig properly could make one you will find a sheet metal workshop will do a really nice job you just supply mesurements. The things you need are fiarly simple things to make just takes time
  15. Can't wait to see it. Yeah was a late one on Friday didn't start till 730 had half my house on the trailer too
  16. Haha don't tempt me if only I had time. I cant see your intake causing a restriction at all. Plus the straighter the pipe better dose/flutter sounds
  17. Why all the lobster backs
  18. I like the idea but don't like the fact is open on idle otherwise I would buy one
  19. Few hundred it's a fair bit of stuffing around. Make sure the studs are replaced. What needs to be done is put the manifold onto the head tighten it all up then install turbo I leave the nuts loose so it has a bit of movement makes it easier to attach oil and water lines then tighten down the turbo install the dump. Then hookup intake and cooler piping then attach the exhaust job done if you do it yourself be prepared to have a few bloody knuckles
  20. I'm keen to try a 3 bolt flange on the sr. After searching on the net it is saying it has better flow capability
  21. No real updates just finished moving house i have some parts coming in soon not telling what tho have to wait and see
  22. Do this you will never get it on properly maybe take it to a mechanic
  23. Bsa

    No Go

I wouldnt even drive through a puddle water and engines are not a good mix I would be disconnecting the battery and removing the ecu let it dry out
  24. Yeah mate all done can't wait to see what it makes on a built 25
