R31Nismoid
You use Firefox? nah, its IE im using, same problem Its basically the "highlight thread preview" It wasnt "so" bad with the old version, now the previews in this version are huge, shows the whole thread when you put your cursor over the thread. Pain the the butt when your browing over thread titles with your mouse as it alters where its going Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/106812-sau-upgrade-log/page/2/#findComment-1972232 Share on other sites
Sl!m
Yeah fast edit seems really good but i can imagine it could be unstable. What browser? using IE6 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/106812-sau-upgrade-log/page/2/#findComment-1972248 Share on other sites
Duncan
Hey Christian, thanks for the upgrade it looks good But I have a couple of things too. Like lwells said, the subscription emails don't have the thread title in the email subject anymore - real pain since it sends multiple emails between visits. And a related point on the improved thread preview, you can't SHIFT+click on a thread from a forum index to open it in another window anymore So its hard to browse a forum and open new threads from it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/106812-sau-upgrade-log/page/2/#findComment-1972357 Share on other sites

funkymonkey
post preview is very very annoying on firefox/nutscrape. email subject was something I fixed in the old version... looks like I'll have to redo the hack again. same with usergroup icons under usernames. Edit: ooh this fast edit shizzle's not bad Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/106812-sau-upgrade-log/page/2/#findComment-1973193 Share on other sites

R31Nismoid
the "preview" thread is also a problem in IE 6.0.2 I go over a thread and sometimes it fills the whole screen as its displaying the whole post, and for some Forced Induction threads there massive first posts, and sometimes pics, they just fill my whole screen 1280x1024 Ill grab a screenshot tomorrow if you dont get my jibberish Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/106812-sau-upgrade-log/page/2/#findComment-1973286 Share on other sites
Sl!m
I dont seem to have a problem with the preview. also using 6.0.2 it opens a small window and the windos has scroll bars on top and sides so its not a full screen. lol @ funkehs banning problems Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/106812-sau-upgrade-log/page/2/#findComment-1973291 Share on other sites

R31Nismoid
I dont seem to have a problem with the preview. also using 6.0.2it opens a small window and the windos has scroll bars on top and sides so its not a full screen. Just go to a thread, and hold your cursor over it. it brings the first post up in a "preview" style window, and if the first post it long, then its massive. Dont know if this is being changed atm or somthing but there is no longer an option in the user profile section to see users posts and threads.. its in an option box, on the top right hand side called "Profile Options" just click, and a drop down box appears with options Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/106812-sau-upgrade-log/page/2/#findComment-1973481 Share on other sites

Came on this morning to get 2 emails from SAU only Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/106812-sau-upgrade-log/page/2/#findComment-1973578 Share on other sites
