nope no Power FC, but definitely considering one.

3" split/front dump, 3" catco hi flow cat (from batmbl), 3.5" custom catback (bought 2nd hand): bolted on by my mechanic.

K&N pod

Have the turbotech controller @ 12psi (the one everyone is raving about on these forums)

Walbro pump installed by CRD ($300 fitted)

After doing 3 power runs, got same result.

I've only been there twice, have spent $155-$300 each time. Its true they have real high class customers, however I was treated nicely and not given attitude.

I can post up AFR graph if anyone would like?

Thanks for such a positive response guys, next cruise or meetup you's can have a closer look and inspect for yourselves.

can you guys stop pissing on to each other..

actually on the other hand - i do enjoy a bit of controversy.. although it appears to appear everytime CRD is mentioned..

Staunch - can you post the AFR dyno graph..

Did he tune anything - or just do some power runs to see it's all going well

Who's is the RH9 GT-R - is that the Dubai customer.. or someone else? in the ACT

The Dubai customer is the blue 34.

RH9 has been around for some time, but has been lying low for the past 2-3 years, great to see its back with a vengence.

i dont understand the point of your post...

you got them to fit a fuel pump, then run it on the dyno, so power has nothing to do with them as they didnt tune it...

anyway i must be missing something :) or maybe you meant to say that you experienced good customer service whilst getting you fuel pump fitted.

Just so you guys know the Blue R34 was sent to us from The Phillipines and his website is www.turboawd.com.ph and RH9 now belongs to a customer from Canberra. We also have a Skyline arriving from India Today which will be converted into a low 8 second car.

Lance

Maybe CRD(Lance) could elaborate on what was done ..

I'm interested to know how the AFR are >10 with a full turbo back exhaust and no Aftermarket ECU - even stock mine dipped past 10:1..

wow - http://www.turboawd.com.ph/skylinegtr.html - that's a pretty extensive list of JUN parts..

links every car with factory ecu behaves a little differently. plus at 190kw, perhaps he is using all the fuel (ie, supplying lots of air) that the usually rich ecu supplies thus engine up with a more reasonable AFR. it's just a ratio of air/fuel afterall so you can either remove fuel, or add air to even out the equation (though granted the ecu tries to put in more fuel as the amount of air moving through the afm increases).

someone answer the damn question.

what is this thread about?

fuel pump made 190rwkw?

CRD gave great price and service?

a stock R33 ecu didn't have a spastic over 10psi?

what's the Gee oh?

ready my posts, its all of the above and yes they tuned it. cheers baron :)

True - BB..

Good result Staunch - was just interseted in knowing what they did as it's quite impressive for a R33 running a stock ECU.. As I also own a stock R33 i'm keen to know what are some good ways to get power and you seem to have done very well..

Also on a full power run I would usually expect to see some form of R&R happening with 12PSI.. but eh.. some are just lucky..

Careful running the turbo at 12PSI that it doesn't destroy the exhaust wheel on it..

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
