Thanks all....

Yeah, dezz i havent driven the Monaro since Heathcote hahahahaha its just not me and now that the GTO is haning around the monaro isnt looking so tasty anymore!

The rims are Lenso Muse in a 19... 18's just didnt fill the guards enough.. the photos dont do the car justice, in the flesh it looks mint..

No track work for me!!! I learnt my lesson once so if i do get track fever again ill be on the look out for a cheap fun track car...

Its a shame you had the drama you did. Its always a risk. What year model is it? Does it have the 5spd or 6spd, i seem to remember the late model ones havign 6 spds?

I drove this car :(, and it is trully awesome.

I would even say that off the line this may have have beaten Shivam's 32GTR, b4 his mechanic troubles, for the first 100m. As Dave stated the RB26 has more up top.

This car really surprised me and Dave made the right choice, the amount of low end torque is incredable, especially for a modified twin turbo car.

i learnt to drive in a GTO when i was 16... my dad had a 91 model with a lot of porsche running gear in it...

awesome cars... so cheap in NZ too which is good :( until u go to resell it.

oh and does it have the leather interior with all the gadgets?? ie adjustable mufflers and all the other gizmos

No leather but has all the gadgets, like adjustable mufflers, cruise control, Active Aero which is fun (at 80kph the front spoiler drops as u can see in the photos and therear spoiler moves)

Ill be with you all at the next drag day to see how she goes!

Launching from a standstill is just rediculous witin it, fantastic traction, even in the wet.. im keen to see my 60 foot times.

Have to agree ... after seeing this car in person, the car is mint!!! Very sleek looking car in person thats for sure.

and DAMN those wheels look good in those pics!! :)

    • Resizing injectors in Nistune can be done a couple of ways, and there are a couple of ways that you can make a mess of it. The tuner needs to be really aware of the effects of whichever approach he uses (either K, or TIM). They are both easy enough to "get the injector size right" to run the engine. But little details like old start enrichment and hot start are affected differently, depending on which boxes you check.
    • Pretty safe to say almost everyone that has tuned their own car has experienced this issue. The difference being that we have our laptop in the car and when it happens, it's literally 10 seconds of tuning to sort it.  Would you be happy to plug in your laptop and sort this yourself? It is a very simple process and there is no risk of harming your engine (if you are worried about that).
    • Yeah thats the next step now, either they wil or i will take out for a drive to work and go straight their after work and see is we get the same issues 🤞  thought i try my luck here too, never know someone else might have had the same issue but thanks for the reply
    • Basically your tuner needs to drive it for the 30 min (or whatever) to create the same conditions then check the ECU settings and sensors at that time. They may not be excited to because that takes them 30 min rather than just opening the bonnet and seeing the problem straight away.... Hot start is generally not as tricky as cold start, but there would be a table for fuel enrichment vs coolant temp as a starting point
    • Yeah, they all cant say anything for sure as everything is working fine . Said unable to find an issue untill it stops again. Could mist likely be CAS wiring or IAS valve issue but again not 100%
