Lol...

Yeah it looks the goods. Twin tip exhaust is nice.

I changed my Blitz canon to a twin tip magnaflow and loved the look and sound.

Sadly I sold my 33 4door today...

Nice work dude, always good when you achieve something like that without f**king everything up :) but why generic old carbon wrap? so many different cool options around

It was just a trial run, really. Its only the cheap autotechnica stuff. I thought the dark bonnet would look alright on the white.

What other options do you mean?

Don't get me wrong. Carbon is nice, but every second Commo has a black or carbon bonnet. :verymad:

I had a 3M Brushed metal on mine......but it kinda looked like primer from a distance, still loved it though. Hard to get a good photo of with a phone.

Me and a couple of mates had a crack at vinyl wrapping my bonnet, turned out pretty good for a bunch of amateurs

I had my wing blade and end caps wrapped a while ago, the only thing I didn't like was the Matte look. Might be a case of each to their own, but I wonder if you sprayed gloss over the top (maybe even some clear Vinyl) if it would get that nice wet carbon look.

Looks pretty good for an Amateur job, wouldn't be upset running that at all

^Work D9Rs?

I wish, they're a Rota P1-R.

I definitely wanted front dish, but with the Gtst's narrow guards and "lumpy" front caliper, I wasn't sure if an D9R would clear at the front in a 9.5 wide rim. The +12 offset may have cleared? But then I may as well have got a 18x10+18 XD9 with the amount of guard work/camber that would have been required.

If it turns out that the D9R clears the front caliper in a 18x9.5+23, that will become an incredibly popular wheel choice for Gtst's in the year to come, for sure.

    • I'm not quite understanding or I'm missing steps here, (I appreciate people are trying to inform my brain but I am of the dumb, especially today) - All I want to do is mount the male BSPT of the OEM sender into the system somewhere without it snapping the adapter via vibration. The Nissan sender has a male 1/8 BSPT output. The block has a (very destroyed) 1/8 NPT input. I'm not really sure how a lathe assists with that, and also don't know anybody with a lathe, nor specifically what I would want to buy. I'm not really sure how adding additional adapters creates a better, more leak proof resilient seal here.
    • 10 minutes on a lathe would be one way to achieve literally anything you want, too. (except for AN type stuff - just talking about M-F with BSP and NPT in any mix/combo).
    • yeah, so "something" should be -4 AN....to a hose....to a -4AN to NPT fitting *edit* sorry, I surely have that backwards. The LS is from land of the free so it must be NPT at the block, and the Nissan sender is BSPT. But still, conceptually the same
    • Yea I mean I know it exists, but finding (specifically) female BSPT to male NPT (i.e, to plug a Nissan OEM sensor into a 'standard' NPT port) was truly difficult. I don't think I'll recreate the setup I had in the past unless it's (possibly?) advisable with a stronger T piece made of steel, but who knows if the aluminium threads in the block become the next weak point etc. Given it may need to be redrilled out and something tapped into it, it'll need to be Female BSPT to the something that ends uo coming out of the side of the block.
