maybe contact Motor magazine, they regularly do PCOTY and measures top speed with speed camera, so they must have access to it or own it.

Horus, I wanna be in.

But before we pay you, can we actually have at least the EXACT date please?

yes......and friends thought i was crazy spending hours building wings out of old tin cans to bolt onto my line, finally they have a purpose in life..........i should listen to those voices more often, "build it and it will come":D:D.....thanks horus!!...lol

so is there going to be a limit to how many numbers or is it the more the merrier(sp) and cheaper...hehe. and how long r we gonna be able to stay on the strip for??

mine cruises around to where "190" would be and then a gentle - "where do you think you're going son" kicks in and spoils the fun...

Does anyone know if that #53 wire cut works on a 34?

I wouldn't mind hitting up to around 250kmh or so, providing it still feels relatively safe as 180 does of course

Yeah, wheels use a radar gun all of the time too.../me thinks of any cops I might know...hmm

OH SHIT YEAH!!!!

i'm in 100%

By the day i'll be fuel pumped and boosted....

ark my words... i'm going for 260 km/h!

Time to put in my roack shock/spring setup.

Also... i'll get out the ass end of the strip for some doughy practice (ain't even done one before so it'll be interesting )

And yeah. Get onto Motor Mag and organise it.

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
