I'll only sell with the right offer but other than that, I plan to keep it for a long time and after that, I'll leave it on the side of the road in punchbowl for people to steal. Insurance will do the rest ^^...........oops did I say that out loud?

I always see people on sau going, so sad to see my car go, i had to sell because I bought a house.

I could never do that.

The only time I could sell it would be to upgrade it. lol, I reckon if I bought an r34 gtr, or the new gtr coming out, I wouldn't think about my current car for more than 2 seconds. lol

>< I got a skline because I couldn't get a Supra...

well I wanted to get a Supra because I got brainwashed by fast and furious..

then 2fast2furious came out and they have this beauftifull blue undercar neon colour light...so

I decide to get a magna instead...

i was 18, i wanted a 300zx but was told by anyone in the know not to get one, so decided that maybe as a second choice an r33 skyline would do.

pretty much exactly the same as this dude lol. i orgionally wanted a 300zx... one of my good mates had one always thought it was awsome etc... till i helped him work on it. was like pfft f**k... that

and then, the love of skylines came about. bought one as my first car last yr. never looked back :(

uncle / aunty owned a stage1 s1 black with gtr badges / wing etc, soo fell in love with it even though twas auto, did move, when it came to buying was looking at what I could get for my price range leaning towards evo but couldnt afford 1 point blank... then noticed... hey t's arent that expensive... shit wait... 32r's arent either... after making heart braking decision that if i bought the r i couldnt afford it really so went the t, kind of wish i hadnt since hte t is sitting in my garage not being driven just as much... frigin SDRO !! *shakes fist*

anywho luvs my manual s2 active lsd model for what she is, pure bliss, screw bling factor though its nice, its all about the cornering baby....

I wanted a 300ZX to begin with but after doing a bit of research (and seeing a couple get towed into work) I changed my mind and started test driving the gts-t's. The first drive was enough to convince me but it took a few more to find the one I wanted.

Amazing how many of my friends have converted after being taken for a spin.

At least 3 are looking at skylines for their next car as a result of my 'demonstrations'.

Always loved the shape of them since i was about 15. Loved the look of all the models but really took a liking to the 33. Drove my mates 33 6 years later and had to get get one for myself. Sold my celica quicksmart! Rwd, heaps of power, tough looks, awesome induction and exaust note just has to have one. So went out and got myself a newly imported silver s2

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
