people having trouble with bezels have you tried contacting mike?

as kezza said, he is the one that can sort you out.

Ok so I've tried sending a mesage to this j-styleinc2004 person... No answer!!!

What now?

This is ridiculous.. Kezza, you organised the buy - something went wrong - SORT IT OUT.

I agree Jon. I asked him many times before I ordered you sure you sure you sure it fits sII because the cluster is different. I've kept all my pms. I literally asked about 5 times both over the course of this group buy and last group buy.

he said yeh, definitely fits. People from last group buy had no problems. I was like ok, sure, i'll get em then.

im back!!!!!!! f**king telstra c**ts....... bu yeah ok!!!!!

so who the hell has got the wrong bezels... shit that has pissed me off... god damm japs. jokes

ok! well people with the SII cars with S1 bezels send me ONE PM and ill get things moving!!!

Dont hound me tho! i already have 50 million PMs.

when it cpmes down to it you will need to take a photo of the sticker with the jap writing on it! be sure you can visably read it so i can pass this info on to mike and he can rip some heads off at the stork factory!

I have leds now!!!!

People who need an extra one or a se please send me a pm. they are $20 each and they are T10 size!

bloody internet...

i have got back one package from MANWHORE so far!!!!

So take a pic of the lable and send it to me! so i can get things going , im sorry again for the delay.. RAHHHHH.

Tis a bit difficult considering mine is already installed.. I dont think I even have the packaging any more!

Thats very annoying! Unless the supplier is able to supply another bezel without getting the original back?

yes they all have the little white lable.... And that says exactly what you have!

Primordial i will have to talk to mike about your deal,,, cause you do need the original stuff with it!!! and if you have already installed it!! i think we may have problems....

And the only way you can get another one is if you pay for it !

Hmmm I see.. Understandable I guess. Well are you able to offer a discounted rate on a replacement? $90 way too steep for the silver bezels!

ok, i was sitting around and i took some pics of the two types of leds !!!!

pics are of the type in auto barn ect... ment to be 180D of light!!!

both pics are about 150mm from the wall, and running off12v jump started bat!!!

This is the blue cruddy wide angle led!

see how only a round part is lit and all around is dark!!!! this in a dial space will only push a bright spot on the dial its self, and give a real shit look!!!!

Ok, same deal about 150mm from the same wall, same 12v bat but the REAL 180 wide angle led!!! i did try to take a pic of the led face but too blury!! it has 6 parts in the one face that powers up, hence why its a real hi power light !

Kezza,

Do these globes just plug right in as a straight fit? Also is it a case of replacing one normal bulb or do you need less of these bulbs?

Finally would you be able to update the LED's in the climate control with these or would you use a different type of LED

Cheers Glenn

yes they will pop straight into the black\grey balast... the size of them is T10 almost all cars use the T10 blobe for the lighting of dials!!!! so yeah easy as to change over!!!

The 2nd answer is yes and no. lol I have replaced the aircon lights with LEDs tho they are NOT T10 size... they are VERY SMALL rice blobes!

I did a costom fitment of 5mm leds with inline 540 resistors ill insert a pic!

But for the dash the hi power ones im selling would have to be the best i have seen!

I fitted one into a mates crap dial(not mine) and it lit the shit out of it!!! OMG... ill find a pic of that as well!!!

Just make sure you get a Series II bezel!! :(

I installed mine today and have a couple of questions.

They look great during the day but when i turn my headlights on at night and the dash lights up they are veeery dark and the old dials show through behind the new ones the bold lines on the 10km/h marks are bigger on the old ones and its a bit weird. Tried to take a pic but it didnt come out so good

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
