hehehe your cars better though man

yours isnt a trailer queen LOL

cant believe i got beaten for best engine bay by an engine bay that wasnt even painted :D

That engine bay was mint on that blue R33. JDM man, heaps of cars have their bays painted black. Its not like it was a red bay on a blue car.

How come your engine wasn't finished man? Just rebuilt it or something?

big congrats to the organisers, was a top day indeed..

few idiots leaving and the one that came in right near there end who locked up and went 4 wheel driving..

great cars, great atmosphere..

all i can say is, more pictures please

yea engine bay on the 33 was nice

i never said it wasnt

i just think when u have as much custom work, hidden wiring, chromed and polished parts and nothing else there was half as detailed

but it didnt run due to waiting on an ECU and a couple braided hoses shouldnt mean u dont win

thats not how they judge at summernats :D

It was an excellent day today. Thanks to Adam, Vic and all the guys and girls who helped out both today and in the months preceding the event. Some very nice cars came out today with a very positve response from many onlookers. Congrats and thanks again to all who participated today.

Charlie Thankyou.... for being you  JK

Great engine bay but some one had to win but you done a fantastic job and for the top three the points where close which I know you dont want to hear.

Next Show 'n' shine we will try and get some of the more less active members to help out more especialy some of the photographers who seem to have a keen eye on detail which would be good.

Anyway where are the pictures you bums!

BTW can anyone post up a list of winners and sponsors of each category?

Also I wasnt one of the judges

wow second last car is the tosser that ripped the grass up at the end

I'm admin on twincam.org. The usual treatment for tossbags like our example above is a perma. ban.. I think it'd be quite suiting here :ninja:

Thanks to the SAU organisers for putting on a great show, I just wish i'd got up earlier so I could have shown of my boat  It was also great to put a few faces to a few names :ninja:

Gee sounds like I was right to leave early! Well it was a great day anyway, had to head off due to other plans but would have stayed for the rest of the day. Well done to all who competed. It was great to meet fellow owners face to face and swap ideas etc. Cant wait to do it again.

So what happened to the Bathurst winning GTR?

firstly, well done to all the organisers. it was a great event.

secondly. if anyone knows the user names of any of the wankers who were doing their lame little burnouts, and speeding off down the road, tearing up grass etc please pm me with any and all details. it really pissed me me off that people felt the need to show off. most of the offenders where driving pretty bloody ordinary cars too which may have been why they felt the need. I mean show some restraint ffs.

wow second last car is the tosser that ripped the grass up at the end

I know the owner of the second last car i will speak to him as he works for the same company different building.

But I dont know his user name on line ill see what I can do.

Once again SAU does it in great style. A huge undertaking to organise with a massive turn out. Hats off to all the committee, associated members and in particular Adam, cheers to you all. More cars on show than Gosford a few years ago,

which was hard to toss. The quality off machines, the time taken, the money spent, the admiration of fellow enthusiasts,

the companies with their sponsorship and quantity of prizes. Sorry to hear about some who left their tyre marks on the grass

and on the road as they left, I know that I gave mine a little squirt (not a burnout), so I apoligize to all for any embarrassment. :)

It was great to see all the cars yesterday

I brought my cousin with me who's still on his P's and he can't wait to get off it so he can get himself skyline..

anyway i took about 200 pictures and i have posted about a 100 on a gallery on myspace page...

the link is

http://www.myspace.com/pacshow

Just go into pictures gallery there's pictures from the Auto Salon in sydney and the Show'n'Shine

Enjoy

P.S : I would have posted the pictures on here but i'm at work and i can't access myspace from here.. if you guys like i can post them up when i get home..

Had a fantastic day....just sorry i didnt get to stay til the end....well run event....and the tossers doing the burnouts just ruin it for the rest of us.....like some idiot that nearly lost it doing a burnout in a packed maccas carpark....

INHVN or whatever it was was a culprit too for burnouts while leaving

there was that light blue 33 gtst with the big turbo - he was also a tosser - denied it even after everyone saw it. But changed hgis story when Charlie and had a word!

    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
    • Harness is for a s1 Rb25det, and it is engine and lower harness.  the old harness had broken off plugs and was in very rough condition/exposed wires and splices etc. it is not able to be put back on the car, I could visually inspect to see if they had rewired any pins on the ecu plug. The fuel pump definitly isn’t turning off it’s an external pump and very loud you can hear it. Will look at the other harness tonight, am also going to pull the fuel rail and watch the injectors spray, will update here with what I find. Pretty sure at this point it has to be something to do with injectors because car will fire up on starting fluid and cas is clicking the Injectors. Fuel pressure is steady 43psi
    • Check the injectors flow evenly, and are actually flowing what you and the ECU think they should be flowing. If it's starting up on starter fluid, you have a fuel issue. Is it possible under cranking your fuel pump is turning off?   The harness you replaced, is that the whole engine harness? Do yourself a test, and drop the old harness on and plug it into the Z32 ECU. It's possible they've wired things different. From memory S1 to S2 is different in RB25 and you may have a wrong loom
    • I haven’t pulled the injectors to watch them spray yet but they are clicking from the cas and all of the spark plugs are wet with fuel. I’ve thought the cylinders were being flooded from the beginning and was hoping fuel pressure would fix it. Tonight I am going to pull the rail and watch the injectors spray. Don’t know how to test/diagnose if the plugs are firing in correct sequence but that should be a timing thing and as far as timing goes my car still has the half moon for the cas can only install it 1 way. And my mechanical timing is 100% correct I posted photos above. Confirmed with the balancer on and off.
